Bengals vs Steelers Week 10 picks and predictions

The Bengals are just 2-5-1 this season, and are visiting the undefeated Steelers, but Cincinnati has played opponents tough in almost every game—and we don't expect that to change this Sunday.

Betting trend to know

The Bengals are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. Find more NFL betting trends for Bengals vs. Steelers.

Against the Spread (ATS) Pick

The elephant in the room is the status of Pittsburgh's franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is on the IR/COVID-19 list after close contact with tight end Vance MacDonald, who tested positive. Roethlisberger has been testing negative and despite not being able to practice all week is expected to be good to go for Sunday.

That said, even if Big Ben gets the start it won't be an easy cover for Pittsburgh against a spunky Bengals side that is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games and should be well-rested after a bye week. With the exception of a beat-down loss on the road in Baltimore, Cincy has played teams tough all season with their other four losses coming by five or fewer points.

While the Bengals defense is still atrocious, their offense has stepped up thanks to rookie quarterback Joe Burrow. Despite being sacked more than any QB not named Carson Wentz, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner is eighth in the league in passing yards and is completing an impressive 67 percent of his passes.

Cincinnati is averaging 411 yards per game over their last three contests and should be able to do enough to cover the spread.

PREDICTION: Cincinnati +7.5 (-110)

Over/Under Pick

Despite their terrific defense, the Over is 4-1-1 in the Steelers last six games against AFC foes and they also average 32.5 points per game at home this season.

Pittsburgh will be able to move the ball against a Bengals defense that surrenders 409 yards per game on the year. Fortunately for the Bengals, their offense has been surging lately and Burrow has shown that he can throw well under pressure—so don't expect Pittsburgh's ferocious pass rush to faze him too much.

Cincinnati is 4-1 to the Over in its last five games and they should be able to do enough to go Over the low total of 45.5

PREDICTION: Over 45.5 (-110)

Player Prop Pick

As well as Burrow has played this season, he's still a rookie QB and first-year passers make mistakes, especially when they try to force things when trailing in games. Burrow threw for a pair of touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last contest but that broke a streak of four consecutive games that he threw a pick.

Now, Burrow faces a tough Steelers defense that leads the league in interceptions with 11. Add that to expected wet and windy conditions in Pittsburgh and we're leaning towards Burrow getting picked off at least once on Sunday.

PREDICTION: Joe Burrow Interceptions Over 0.5 (-120)

Bengals vs Steelers Betting Card

  • Cincinnati +7.5 (-110)
  • Over 45.5 (-110)
  • Joe Burrow Interceptions Over 0.5 (-120)
