Featured NFL Week 5 odds
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills
Kenny Pickett replaced the struggling Mitch Trubisky last week for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and today he'll make his first-ever start against the Buffalo Bills as a 14-point road dog.
Dating back to 1970, this is the most amount of points Pittsburgh has ever been given. Although the Steelers were receiving 53.1% of spread tickets at Caesars on Friday, 65.7% of the handle favored the Bills.
Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to erase a two-game slide when they host Atlanta Falcons. Tampa opened as 8-point favorites but have since climbed to -10 as bettors are bullish on Tom Brady and the offense to break out.
As of Friday, the Bucs were taking in 93.6% of the spread handle at Caesars — the highest among any Week 5 game.

NFL Week 5 news
Geno's off to a hot start
It's crazy to think that Geno Smith is outperforming Russell Wilson to begin the 2022 season, but it's a reality.
The Seahawks' pivot has been highly efficient, completing 77% of his passes for a QB rating of 108.0 through four games. Only Tua Tagovailoa and Patrick Mahomes have better ratings entering Week 5.
Smith is coming off being named Offensive Player of the Week in a dazzling performance against Detroit. He'll look to complete his third straight 300-yard passing game against the Saints this afternoon.
Beasley calls it a career
Veteran slot receiver Cole Beasley announced his retirement from the NFL this past week. Beasley appeared in just two games with the Buccaneers after signing with them in late September.
A longtime member of the Dallas Cowboys, Beasley saw limited action with Brady and Co. as he totaled just four catches for 17 yards against the Packers and Chiefs.
The 33-year-old's best season came in 2020 when he was named second-team All-Pro as a member of the Bills.
NFL Week 5 injuries
Los Angeles Chargers vs Cleveland Browns
After sitting out last week due to injuries suffered in a car accident, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett will play against the Chargers as Cleveland looks to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Garrett has three sacks in three games, and I like the All-Pro pass rusher to keep up with that pace by wreaking havoc against a Chargers O-line missing Pro Bowl tackle Rashawn Slater.
Look for Garrett to bring down QB Justin Herbert at least once in his return to the field.
Detroit Lions vs New England Patriots
With De'Andre Swift ruled out for the Lions, watch out for backup RB Jamaal Williams to have a big day in Foxborough.
Although the Patriots rank 10th against the pass, their run defense leaves much to be desired. New England is giving up an average of 128.5 yards on the ground per game, and Williams will be getting a bunch of touches in the backfield because of it.

NFL Week 5 weather
Good news for NFL fans (unless you like the Under), as not a single game is expected to see rain today.
Heat will once again play a factor in Florida, as both Tampa Bay and Jacksonville will be expecting humidity percentages above 57%.
Even with precipitation, the elements could play a strong factor in Buffalo, as winds are forecasted at 19.7 mph. This could definitely mean a rough day for kickers and punters at Highmark Stadium.
