There may be no quarterback in the NFL more polarizing than Dak Prescott, but that just comes with the territory of being the field general for the Dallas Cowboys.

Although Dak hasn't brought Super Bowl success to Dallas just yet, he's always found a way to get himself in the headlines, including signing the richest contract in NFL history ahead of Week 1 of the 2024 season.

Let's take a look at Dak Prescott's record against every team in the NFL.

Prescott vs the New York Giants

In his first full season as QB for the Cowboys back in 2016, Prescott dropped two games to the New York Giants — both of which were the only losses in his team's first 13 games.

Since then, Dak has been a beast against New York, going 13-0 in that span. In 15 games against the Giants, Prescott has thrown for 3,915 yards, 29 touchdowns, and just eight picks. Talk about dominating a divisional opponent.

Prescott vs the Washington Commanders

In 13 games against the Commanders, Prescott has thrown for 27 TDs and just five INTs, while only dropping two games. Yeah, that's right: Since Dak joined the league, Washington has had as many name changes as wins against the Cowboys' QB.

Let's not kid ourselves and say the RedFootballCommanders were fielding elite teams over the last eight years, but you have to admit what Dak has done to this franchise is quite impressive. He tries to embarrass them as much as he can anytime they match up.

Prescott vs the Seattle Seahawks

Moving away from divisional opponents for a moment, let's talk about the one team Prescott has been able to beat in the postseason — the Seattle Seahawks. Back in 2019, Seattle and Dallas faced off in a barn burner, with the Cowboys escaping with a 24-22 win. Although not his best game stats-wise, Dak did what he needed to get done to secure the victory.

Unfortunately, his success against the Seahawks stops there, as he is just 1-3 against them in the regular season.

Prescott vs the Philadelphia Eagles

One more divisional opponent that Prescott has had relative success against has been the Philadelphia Eagles. In 13 matchups, Prescott holds a 9-4 advantage and has thrown for 24 TDs. During his time in the NFC East, the Eagles have had the most success, with Dallas and Philly combining for five division titles in six years.

Prescott vs the Detroit Lions

Prescott has thrown for 11 touchdowns in six games against the Detroit Lions. One of Dak's biggest games in 2019 came against Detroit, when he threw for 444 yards and had three TDs. Now that's what you call domination.

His lone loss to the Lions came in Week 6 of the 2024 season, when Detroit destroyed Dallas 47-9. Prescott completed just 17-of-33 passes and was picked off twice in the lopsided loss.
