The Caesars Superdome will play host to an NFC South showdown between the rolling Atlanta Falcons and skidding New Orleans Saints on Sunday, November 10.

Atlanta has won five of its past six while New Orleans is reeling along a seven-game losing streak, and our top NFL picks and Falcons vs. Saints predictions expect the good times to keep rolling for Atlanta in Week 10.

Falcons vs Saints SGP for Week 10

Falcons -3.5

Falcons team total Over 24.5 points

Juwan Johnson Over 28.5 receiving yards

The New Orleans Saints have been run over the past six weeks with the highest EPA per rush and rushing success rate against, and they’ve also allowed the third-highest yards per carry for the year. Entering Week 10, New Orleans has also dropped to 23rd in defensive DVOA and 30th in PFF defense grade.

Of course, the Saints are skidding along a seven-game losing streak following last week’s 23-22 loss to the lowly Carolina Panthers. As a result, this past week saw the organization fire head coach Dennis Allen and deal star cornerback Marshon Lattimore before the trade deadline.

The New Orleans offense is going to be without No. 1 wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) for the foreseeable future, and fellow wideouts Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) are also on injured reserve.

Things are looking rather bleak in the Big Easy.

With the Atlanta Falcons ranking fifth in offensive DVOA and sporting the third-highest PFF offense grade, I’m confident Kirk Cousins and the offense can have another successful afternoon on Sunday. They’ve averaged 28.7 points per game across the past six weeks and have scored 26 or more in five times.

Atlanta currently ranks sixth in EPA per play, EPA per dropback, and EPA per rush, so this is anything but a one-dimensional offense. Playing in the Caesars Superdome is also a perfect setup for both Cousins, as the veteran gunslinger boasts a 69.3 completion percentage and 7.9 yards per attempt indoors.

With the highlighted injuries to the New Orleans receivers corps, tight end Juwan Johnson is set to continue seeing plenty of looks in the passing attack. He’s eclipsed 28.5 receiving yards in four of the past five weeks, averaging 37.2  per game.

The Falcons haven’t been particularly stingy against TEs, either. Atlanta has surrendered a healthy 7.56 yards per target and a 75.8 catch percentage to the position, and an opposing TE has registered 44 or more receiving yards against the Falcons in each of the past four weeks.
