Lamar Jackson Odds and Props for Week 6: Tennessee Has Tough Time Limiting Impact of Lamar's Legs

The Titans have been a tricky team to run against in 2023, but the Ravens' Lamar Jackson presents a unique threat to opponents every week. The dual-threat QB should have a big day in London, at least on the ground, per our NFL betting picks.

Lamar Jackson Week 6 prop pick

Lamar Jackson Over 41.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Where else are we going to start with Lamar Jackson than with his ability on the ground?

In a league full of players with freakish athletic gifts, it’s still incredible how good Jackson is at rushing. He’s the definition of a dual threat quarterback, and although the Titans are relatively good against the run (ninth), I think we can back Jackson to hit Over 41.5 rushing yards.

Through five games this season, Jackson has exceeded that mark on three occasions. One of the two where he missed was the season opener against the Texans, where he had a season low on rushing attempts. The most recent was against a very good Browns rushing defense.

The Ravens flew to London on Monday, three days before the Titans, and I think we’re going to see a team that starts sharp and is more acclimated. That’s going to give Jackson a good chance to use his feet and create big gains against what might still be a jet-lagged Titans defense. It’s worth remembering that last week the Bills flew to London on the Thursday night before and struggled against a well-rested Jaguars team, especially in the first half. That’s something I’d like to take advantage of this time around.

The Ravens are 4-point favorites and holding a lead against the Titans is only going to see the rushing increase, which should again help our total on Jackson here. Just back Over 41.5 rushing yards, then sit back and enjoy on Sunday.

Lamar Jackson Week 6 same-game parlay

Lamar Jackson Over 42.5 Rushing Yards

Zay Flowers Over 4.5 Receptions

Mark Andrews Anytime TD

First up, we’re going with our best bet for Ravens vs. Titans, which is for Jackson to hit the Over on his rushing yards. The line in our best bet is 41.5 rushing yards, but for the purpose of this SGP we’re going to have to use the 42.5-yard line that this sportsbook offers.

Jackson is one of the premier rushers in the NFL, and certainly the best to also play QB. He’s an incredible talent and will surely use his legs against a tough Titans defense. The Over on Jackson rushing yards has hit 60% of the time this year, and in eight of 11 games in 2022.

Next up, we’re backing Ravens rookie receiver Zay Flowers to haul in Over 4.5 receptions. The former Boston College standout has looked the real deal through give games, even though he’s yet to score and have the breakout game that his performances have deserved.

He’s had Over 4.5 receptions in 60% of his games this year but it’s worth noting that he’s been targeted five or more times in four of five games, and in three of those games he’s had 10 or more targets. Flowers has the potential to be a volume monster and should do well here.

Finally, we’re backing Mark Andrews to find the end zone. The tight end is one of Jackson’s favored targets and a huge red zone threat. After missing the first week of the season he’s managed to score three touchdowns in the four games since, and it’s clear that when the Ravens are in dangerous field position, it’s often Andrews that is the man the team will look to.
