Opening line

Saints -7.5, Over/Under 51.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 4:25 P.M. ET FRIDAY: With kickoff looming, the Saints are -6.5 at FanDuel, which is where they opened, and they spent some time at -7 during the week. Ticket count and money are both running about 3/1 on New Orleans. The total just ticked from 50 to 49.5, after opening Sunday night at 52.5, but 69 percent of bets/70 percent of dollars are on the Over.

UPDATE NOON ET FRIDAY: New Orleans moved from -7 to -6.5 a couple of times at DraftKings and is currently -6.5, landing 71 percent of spread tickets and 82 percent of spread money. The total moved from 52 to 50.5 to 51, with 71 percent of tickets/62 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: As Christmas Day begins, the aptly named Saints are at -7, where they've been most of the week at William Hill US after opening -7.5. Still, New Orleans is taking 79 percent of tickets and 85 percent of money on the spread. The total opened 52 and hit 50.5 very early today, although 70 percent of tickets and 63 percent of dollars are on the Over.

UPDATE 9:45 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Saints moved from -7.5 to -6.5 to -7, then back to -6.5 Thursday night at DraftKings, where 58 percent of point-spread tickets and 70 percent of spread dollars are on New Orleans. The total moved from 52 to 50.5 to 51, then back to 50.5 Thursday night with 71 percent of bets on the Over, but just 53 percent of money on the Over for this Christmas Day game.

UPDATE 12:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: This line has bounced back and forth at FanDuel, opening Saints -6.5, dropping to -6, going up to -7 and now sitting at the opener again. New Orleans is taking 70 percent of spread tickets and 68 percent of spread money. The total is down to 51 from a 52.5 opener, with 67 percent of bets/62 percent of cash on the Over.

---

New Orleans dropped its last two games, falling just short at home in a 32-29 Sunday loss to Kansas City, and needs a Christmas Day win to stay ahead of Tampa Bay in the NFC South. Minnesota needs a win even worse after falling 33-27 at home to Chicago on Sunday, leaving the Vikes at 6-8 SU and clinging to playoff hopes.

"We opened Saints -7 and haven’t moved it," Murray said Sunday night. "There will be a lot of teaser and moneyline parlays this weekend starting with the Saints on Christmas Day. This could potentially be a big windfall for the books if the Vikings can go in there and get a win, the way they did in the wild-card round back in January. I won’t hold my breath. It seems like the Vikings have run out of steam."

Opening line

Lions +7.5, Over/Under 49

Why the line moved

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Tampa Bay opened -7.5 at FanDuel and earlier this evening reached -10, with the Bucs taking 61 percent of tickets and 64 percent of cash. The total moved from 54 to 53.5 to 54.5, with 60 percent of tickets/70 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: The Bucs are out to -9.5 from a -8 opener and -7.5 low point at William Hill US, with 69 percent of spread tickets and 87 percent of spread money on Tampa Bay. The total has been stable at 54 save for few hours Monday at 53.5, with the Over getting 69 percent of tickets/64 percent of money.

---

Tampa Bay dug itself a 24-7 third-quarter hole at Atlanta on Sunday, but that proved a familiar position for Tom Brady, and he got a familiar result. Brady and the Bucs rallied for a 31-27 victory. Detroit, meanwhile, got outscored 22-7 in the fourth quarter of a 46-25 loss at Tennessee.

The Bucs opened -7.5 at The SuperBook and are still there late Sunday night.

Opening line

Cardinals -3, Over/Under 49

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: The Cards opened -4 at PointsBet USA and initially dipped to -3.5, but they've since climbed as high as -6.5 and are now -6. Point-spread tickets are running 4/1 and money 2/1 on Arizona. The total is down two points from 50.5 to 48.5, with 60 percent of tickets on the Over and 70 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Arizona opened -3 and peaked at -5.5, then receded to -4.5 at FanDuel, where the Cardinals are landing 83 percent of spread bets and 90 percent of spread cash. The total fell from 50.5 to 47.5, then ticked up to 48.5, with tickets and money both about 2/1 on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: William Hill US opened the Cardinals -3.5 and got to -5 Tuesday afternoon, where the number remains now, with Arizona nabbing 86 percent of spread tickets and 87 percent of spread cash. The total dipped from 50 to 49, even though tickets and money are both about 3/1 on the Over.

---

Arizona is in the seventh and final NFC playoff slot for the moment, but needs to keep winning to stay there. In Week 15, the Cards fended off Philadelphia 33-26. San Francisco lost at Dallas 41-33 and is now playing out the string in an injury-riddled season.

The SuperBook opened the Cardinals -3 and ticked to -3.5, where the number remains late Sunday night.

Opening line

Raiders +2.5, Over/Under TBA

Why the line moved

UPDATE 8 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This line opened Miami -2.5 at FanDuel and spent most of the week at -3, then receded to -2.5 today, where the number is now. Tickets and money are running 3/1 on the Dolphins. The total opened 47.5 and this evening got to 50, with 70 percent of bets/74 percent of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Miami moved from -2.5 to -3 and back at PointsBet USA, where the Dolphins are attracting 73 percent of tickets and 90 percent of cash on the spread. The total fell from 48 to 47.5, then climbed to 49.5, with ticket count 3/1 and money 4/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 10 P.M. ET FRIDAY: FanDuel opened the Dolphins -1.5, briefly went to -1, then went up to -3 a couple of times, and that's where the line currently rests. Tickets and money are running 3/1 on the road favorite. The total has been at 47.5 most of the week, spending about 21 hours at 48.5 from Wednesday night to Thursday night, and the Over is getting 69 percent of tickets/77 percent of money.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT THURSDAY: Miami is currently -3 at William Hill US and is taking 78 percent of spread tickets/86 percent of spready money for a prime-time Saturday affair. The total is 47.5, with 77 percent of bets on the Over, but just 56 percent of the money backing the Over.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: The first move on this line, shortly after it went up Sunday night at FanDuel, was from Dolphins -1.5 to -1, but it went north from there and is now at Miami -3. The Dolphins are landing 76 percent of bets and 86 percent of money on the spread. The total inched from 47.5 to 48 Wednesday night, with tickets 2/1 and money 3/1 on the Over.

---

Miami, coming off a 22-12 home win over New England, currently holds the seventh and final AFC playoff spot. Las Vegas fell to the L.A. Chargers 30-27 in the Week 15 Thursday nighter and has lost four of its last five, making this Saturday night game a must-win to stay in the playoff chase.

"We opened the Dolphins -2.5. This is a big game for them, as they are hanging on in the AFC playoff race, and the Raiders are basically finished," Murray said Sunday night, adding that Las Vegas likely won't have QB Derek Carr due to a groin injury. "We don’t anticipate seeing Carr out there again. Miami has been impressive, but the Dolphins are pretty banged up. We just feel the Raiders have too many guys out defensively to not be the underdogs here."

Opening line

Chargers -3, Over/Under 48.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: PointsBet held the Chargers at -3 all week, then ticked to -2.5 this morning, and the number remains -2.5 now. Los Angeles is drawing 76 percent of tickets, but Denver is taking 54 percent of money on the spread. The total dropped from 50 to 47.5, with 55 percent of tickets on the Over, but 83 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Chargers moved from -3.5 to -4 early in the week at DraftKings, but are now down to -2.5, with 56 percent of tickets on Los Angeles and 56 percent of money on Denver. The total is down to 47.5 from a 50 opener, with 63 percent of tickets on the Over and 70 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET SATURDAY: FanDuel hasn't budged off L.A. -3 all week, though the Chargers are taking 75 percent of tickets and 78 percent of money on the spread. The total fell from 50 to 48.5, even with 63 percent of tickets and 65 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: This line is stuck on Chargers -3 at FanDuel, where Los Angeles is taking 71 percent of tickets and 70 percent of money. The total opened at 50 and is down to 48.5, with 62 percent of tickets/53 percent of cash on the Over.

---

Both these teams are playing out the string in the AFC West. Los Angeles topped Las Vegas 30-27 in the Week 15 Thursday nighter, while Denver got belted by Buffalo 48-19 on Saturday night.

The Chargers opened -3 at The SuperBook and briefly visited -3.5, then returned to -3, where the number remains late Sunday night.

Opening line

Jets +10, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 12:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Browns are down to -6.5 at William Hill US due to the team's COVID situation, though point-spread tickets and money are both 5/1 on Cleveland. The total is at 44 on two-way action.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This line is very much on the move tonight, due to a developing COVID situation with the Browns. ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted this evening that several players in the Browns' receiving corps could miss the trip to New York due to being high-risk close contacts. Ultimately, Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge were put on the reserve/COVID list, so they are out Sunday. The line at FanDuel plunged straight from Browns -9.5 to -7.5, then ticked to -7 just a few minutes ago. For the moment, however, Cleveland is drawing 80 percent of spread bets and 86 percent of spread cash. The total opened 44.5 and peaked at 47.5, then fell two points to 45.5 in the last 30 minutes.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: Cleveland is down to -9.5 from a -11 opener at FanDuel, though tickets and money are both in the 4/1 range on the road chalk. The total is up three points to 47.5, but it's not overwhelming action on the Over, which is netting 52 percent of tickets and 67 percent of dollars.

---

New York is winless no longer, pulling off one of the season's biggest upsets in Week 15. The Jets went to Los Angeles as 17-point underdogs to the Rams and exited with a stunning 23-20 victory, moving to 1-13 SU (5-9 ATS). Cleveland remained in the thick of the AFC playoff race by stifling the New York Giants 20-6 on the road in the Sunday nighter.

The SuperBook opened the Browns -10, and that's where the line remains late Sunday night.

Opening line

Texans -9, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 12:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Houston is a 7-point favorite at William Hill US pre-kickoff, with tickets and money both running about 2/1 on the Texans. The total is 45.5 on interesting betting splits, with 62 percent of tickets on the Over and 89 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 12:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Houston is down to -7 from a -8.5 opener at FanDuel, where 58 percent of spread bets and 65 percent of spread dollars are on the Texans. The total dipped from 46.5 to 44.5, with 60 percent of tickets/77 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: This line ticked between Texans -8.5 and -8 a couple of times at FanDuel and is currently -8. The underdog Bengals, coming off a stunning Monday night upset of the Steelers, are attracting 61 percent of bets and money on the spread. The total is stuck at 46.5 on what's surely light action, as 60 percent of bets and 95 percent of dollars are on the Over.

---

These two teams have nothing but pride and draft position to play for in Week 16, although Cincinnati still has Week 15 work to do, hosting Pittsburgh in the Monday night game. Houston fell short at Indianapolis 27-20 in Week 15.

The Texans opened as 9-point favorites at The SuperBook, and that's where the line sits late Sunday night.

Opening line

Steelers -2.5, Over/Under 45.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 12:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This line continues to bounce around a lot at PointsBet USA. It opened Colts -2.5, flipped to Steelers -2 by Saturday, and now it's back Colts -1. "It will be interesting to see where this one closes. Great two -way action, 59% of spread bets coming in on Colts, but 61% of the spread handle coming in on the Steelers," PointsBet USA's Patrick Eichner said.

UPDATE 12:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: This line has been all over the place, opening Steelers -3 before they lost Monday night at Cincinnati, jumping the fence to as far as Colts -2.5 Tuesday. Then Saturday night, the line flipped back to Steelers -1.5, though Indy is taking 60 percent of tickets/57 percent of money on the spread. The total dropped from 46.5 to 43, but tickets and money are both in the 4/1 range on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: The Steelers opened -2.5 at William Hill US, then suffered a stunning Monday night upset at Cincinnati, and on Tuesday morning, the line flipped to Colts -1.5. Indianapolis is attracting 68 percent of bets and 57 percent of dollars on the spread. The total fell from 46 to 44.5, despite the Over grabbing 83 percent of bets and 89 percent of money.

---

There's plenty on the line in this tilt. Pittsburgh is at least hoping to maintain the No. 2 spot in the AFC and stay within striking distance of Kansas City for No. 1, while Indianapolis is currently No. 6, but is tied with AFC South rival Tennessee at 10-4.

Indy edged Houston 27-20 Sunday, while Pittsburgh plays in the Week 15 finale at Cincinnati on Monday night.

"We opened Steelers -2.5 (-110) and took a bet right away on the favorite that moved us to -2.5 (-120)," Murray said. "We aren’t quite ready to go to 3. We really don’t trust the Steelers, and we know wiseguys have loved betting on the Colts this season. Should be a good-volume game here."

Opening line

Jaguars +6.5, Over/Under 46.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 9 A.M. ET SUNDAY: BetMGM Nevada has beeen pinned to Bears -7.5 all week, with ticket count 4/1 and money 3/1 on Chicago for straight bets. The Bears also saw a $148,000 moneyline and are drawing a lot of parlay/teaser money.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: The Bears moved from -5.5 to -7 pretty quickly Sunday night at FanDuel, then got to -7.5 Monday, where the line stands now. Chicago is drawing 75 percent of spread bets and 82 percent of spread money. The total dipped from 47.5 to 46.5, then ticked to 47 Wednesday afternoon, and it's two-way action, with 52 percent of bets/53 percent of money on the Over.

---

Chicago nabbed a 33-27 victory at Minnesota in Week 15, while Jacksonville got thumped at Baltimore 40-14. The SuperBook opened the Bears -6.5 and ticked to -7, where the number remains late Sunday night.

Opening line

Washington -1.5, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: PointsBet USA opened Washington -1.5 and reached -2.5 Thursday, but the line then began moving the other direction and is now Carolina -1. Washington is taking 66 percent of spread tickets and 58 percent of spread money. The total fell from 44.5 to 41.5, then inched up to 42, with the Over getting 60 percent of tickets and a slim majority 52 percent of money.

UPDATE 1:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington bounced between -2 and -2.5 a good chunk of the week at DraftKings, but this line moved against Football Team the past couple of days and is now Panthers -1. Still, 70-percent plus of money and tickets are on Washington. The total dipped from 44.5 to 41.5, then went to 42, with 58 percent of bets on the Over and 69 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 9 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Washington is down to -1 from an opener of -1.5 and a high point of -2.5 at FanDuel, where tickets and money are running 2/1 on WFT. The total dipped from 44.5 to 41.5, but the Over is getting 65 percent of bets and 61 percent of money.

UPDATE 1:30 A.M. ET THURSDAY: This line has jumped around a bit, from Washington -2 to -1.5 to -2.5 and back to -1.5 at FanDuel, where Washington is getting 66 percent of tickets, but Carolina is getting slim majority of money at 52 percent. The total is pinned to 44.5, with 57 percent of tickets and 67 percent of cash on the Under.

---

Washington's four-game SU and ATS run to the top of the putrid NFC East ended with a 20-15 home setback to Seattle. Carolina fell short Saturday night at Green Bay, 24-16. Washington moved from -1.5 to -2 at The Superbook, and that's where WFT is late Sunday night.

Opening line

Ravens -10, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 9 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Ravens moved from -9.5 to -10.5 and back at FanDuel, while taking 77 percent of bets and 80 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 45.5 to 43.5 to 44.5, with ticket count and money both about 2/1 on the Over.

---

New York could've tied Washington atop the NFC East with a Sunday night win over Cleveland, but never really got going in a 20-6 loss. Baltimore had no such issues while pounding Jacksonville 40-14, but the Ravens are still on the outside looking in for the playoffs, sitting eighth in the AFC.

The Ravens opened -10 at The SuperBook, where the first move was actually toward the Giants within a few minutes Sunday night, as Baltimore dipped to -9.5.

Opening line

Chiefs -11, Over/Under 53.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 9 A.M. ET SUNDAY: FanDuel opened Kansas City -11, dipped to -10 and is now -10.5, with the Chiefs taking 70 percent of spread bets and 80 percent of spread money. The total rose from 53.5 to 54.5, then fell to 52.5, despite tickets and money both running more than 5/1 on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: The Chiefs opened -11.5 at William Hill US but have spent most of the week at -10.5, though they are taking 68 percent of tickets and 73 percent of money. The total inched from 53.5 to 54 Wednesday, where the number remains now, with the Over dominating at 83 percent of tickets/93 percent of cash.

---

Kansas City kept its firm grip on the AFC's top seed by edging host New Orleans 32-29 in Week 15, while Atlanta blew a 24-7 third-quarter lead at home in a 31-27 loss to Tampa Bay. The Chiefs opened -11 at The SuperBook and dipped to -10.5, where the line sits late Sunday night.

Opening line

Seahawks -2, Over/Under 46.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 4:05 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Shortly before kickoff, Seattle sits -1.5 at PointsBet USA, after opening -2.5 and going as low as -1. It's two-way action, with 61 percent of tickets on the Seahawks and 54 percent of the money on the Rams. The total moved from 46.5 to 48, though action is two-way there as well, with 62 percent of tickets/56 percent of money on the Over.

UPDATE 1:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Seahawks moved from -2.5 to -1 to -1.5 at DraftKings, with 69 percent of tickets and 59 percent of cash on Seattle. The total is up to 48 from 46.5, with tickets and money 4/1 on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: Seattle is down to -1.5 from a -3 opener at William Hill US, on interesting point-spread betting splits: 56 percent of early tickets are on the Seahawks, but 87 percent of early cash is on the Rams. "I don’t understand that move. These teams seem pretty even to me, and the Rams losing Cam Akers is a pretty big blow," WillHill director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said, alluding to L.A. missing its starting running back due to a high ankle sprain. "Seattle is always a tough out at home, and (Russell) Wilson is still one of the best quarterbacks in the game." The total moved from 46.5 to 47.5, with 74 percent of bets/87 percent of cash on the Over.

---

Los Angeles was dealt one of the more stunning losses of the 2020 season, a 23-20 home setback to the previously winless New York Jets. Seattle let Washington hang around, but mustered a 20-15 road victory in Week 15 and is now a game clear of the Rams in the NFC West.

"We opened Seahawks -2, took some money and moved it to -2.5," Murray said. "The Rams are coming off as bad of a loss as we have seen in the NFL this season, but they are a very well-coached team, and I’d expect them to play with some serious focus this week. Another good-volume game with good two-way write."

Opening line

Cowboys +1.5, Over/Under 49.5

Why the line moved

UPDATE 4:10 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philly opened -1 and stretched to -3 at PointsBet USA on interesting betting splits: 63 percent of tickets are on the Eagles, but 71 percent of money is on the Cowboys. The total moved from 49.5 to 50 to 49, and it's now 50.5, with 55 percent of tickets on the Over, but 72 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 1:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Eagles opened -1.5 at DraftKings, peaked at -3.5 earlier today and are now -3, with ticket count 2/1 and money beyond 3/1 on Philadelphia. The total opened 49.5, with a low point of 49 and a high point of 50.5, which is where the number is now, with tickets and money 2/1 on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: This game is one of the big movers of the week at William Hill US, opening Dallas -2 and flipping to Eagles -1 within a couple of hours Sunday night, then stretching to Philly -2.5 by Wednesday night. The Eagles are attracting 60 percent of spread bets and 88 percent of spread money. The total bounced from 49.5 to 50 to 49 and back to 49.5, with 70 percent of tickets on the Over and 62 percent of money on the Under.

---

Believe it or not, these two teams are still alive to win the NFC East, even though Philadelphia is 4-9-1 SU and Dallas is 5-9 SU. Philly fell at Arizona 33-26 in Week 15, while Dallas dumped visiting San Francisco 41-33.

The initial move on this line was toward the Cowboys, with The SuperBook going from Eagles -1.5 to -1 and remaining there through Sunday night.

Opening line

Packers -4, Over/Under 56

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With kickoff looming, the Packers are -3 at PointsBet USA, down from the opener of -4, with point-spread tickets and money running about 2/1 on Green Bay. With foul winter weather in play, the total dropped from 55.5 to 52, but ticket count is still 3/1 and money 4/1 on the Over.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Green Bay opened -4.5 last Sunday night at FanDuel and is now -3, with 60 percent of spread tickets and 59 percent of spread dollars on the Packers. And with the snow falling and a little wind, too, the total is down to 53.5 from a 55.5 opener, but the Over is taking 76 percent of tickets and 78 percent of money.

UPDATE 1:15 P.M. ET SUNDAY: DraftKings started Green Bay at -4 and is now at -3 on two-way action, with the Packers landing 52 percent of tickets and 56 percent of money on the spread. The total moved from 55.5 to 56, then dipped to 53.5, although the Over is attracting 81 percent of tickets/70 percent of money.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: The Packers dropped from -4.5 to -3 at William Hill US, where the Titans are taking 55 percent of tickets and 63 percent of money on the spread. The total is nailed to 56, even though ticket count is 2/1 and money is running 5/1 on the Over.

---

Green Bay fended off Carolina 24-16 in Week 15 and holds the NFC's top playoff seed. Tennessee is tied with Indianapolis atop the AFC South, but the Titans hold the tiebreaker and are currently the No. 4 seed in the AFC. The Titans topped Detroit 46-25 Sunday.

"We opened Packers -4 and are still there," Murray said of the Week 16 Sunday nighter. "I expect to see sharp money come in on the Titans in this game, and the Packers always see an onslaught of public bets, especially in prime time. This could end up being one of those Pros vs. Joes type games that media types love. I’m sure we will be pulling for the Titans."

Opening line

Bills -6.5, Over/Under 45

Why the line moved

UPDATE 7:50 P.M. ET MONDAY: Shortly before kickoff, Circa Sports has the Bills -7.5, a line arrived at this morning after spending a week at -7, from an opener of -6.5. "Definitely good two-way action, but going into the game, we'll need the underdog Patriots," Circa sportsbook operations manager Jeff Benson said. "Obviously, the Bills are a public play. We saw some sharp money on Patriots moneyline +325." With that in mind, the book is rooting for a Bills win and a Patriots cover. The total moved from 45 to 47, but Benson said there's not much of a need there. A couple of noteworthy prop bets tonight: good two-way action on Bills QB Josh Allen's passing yards (O/U 267.5); Patriots QB Cam Newton's rushing yards moved from 37.5 to 39.5, and the book needs the Under; and Bills running back Zack Moss' rushing yards prop initially moved from 48.5 to 50.5, but it's since plunged to 42, and the book needs the Over.

UPDATE 4 P.M. ET MONDAY: William Hill US opened Buffalo -6.5 and reached -7.5 earlier this afternoon, then reverted to -7. The Bills are taking 90 percent of spread tickets and 84 percent of spread money. "They’re still trying to get the No. 2 seed here. Playing playoff games at home until Kansas City would be big," WillHill director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said. "We’ve got some liability going to the Bills. But yesterday was good for the house, so we’re going to have a decent week regardless of what happens tonight." The total initially dipped from 45.5 to 45, but it's now up to 47 on two-way action, with 61 percent of tickets on the Over and 53 percent of money on the Under.

UPDATE 1:45 P.M. ET MONDAY: Buffalo started at -6.5, spent most of the week at -7 and finally broke through the key number today, moving to -7.5 at DraftKings. It's a landslide for the Bills, who are attracting 90 percent of tickets and 87 percent of money on the spread. The total is far closer to two-way action, with 56 percent of tickets and money on the Over while moving from 45.5 to 47.5, then ticking back to 47 this afternoon.

UPDATE 6 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Bills opened -6.5 at FanDuel, moved to -7 Monday afternoon and stuck there all week long. Buffalo is attracting 90 percent of tickets and money. The total moved from 44.5 to 46.5 by Friday, with 58 percent of tickets and money on the Over.

UPDATE MIDNIGHT ET THURSDAY: Buffalo moved from -6.5 to -7 early in the week at William Hill US, where the Bills are dominating with 93 percent of tickets and 94 percent of cash on the spread. "New England’s eliminated (from playoff contention), so they’re not going to have as much grind and will probably be a little looser with the playbook," WillHill director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said. "Their usual ferocity on defense I think might not be there. The Bills are red-hot, and they’re getting all the money so far." The total shifted from 45.5 to 45 to 46, with 57 percent of bets on the Over, but 75 percent of dollars on the Under.

This game certainly has playoff seeding implications, but only for Buffalo, as New England was officially eliminated from postseason contention in Sunday's 22-12 loss at Miami. Meanwhile, Buffalo boatraced Denver 48-19 in a Week 15 Saturday night affair.

"It is funny to see the Bills laying -6.5 on the road against the Patriots, but that’s where we are right now," Murray said of a line that remains -6.5 late Sunday night. "The Bills are the new class of the division with the franchise QB (Josh Allen), and the Patriots will have to rebuild. I’d say the Patriots had a decent run. The books will be pulling for the Patriots in a big way next Monday night."
