After a pitiful display last weekend against the Falcons, the Raiders hope to beat up on the hapless Jets and give Derek Carr & Co. a little more cause for celebration.

The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to rebound after an embarrassing Week 12 performance against the Falcons. Luckily for them, the New York Jets are next on the schedule.

The 6-4 Raiders will look to get their playoff hopes back on track as 7.5-point road favorites versus the winless Jets. New York has been a touchdown-or-more underdog in nine of its last 10 games and is 3-6 ATS over that stretch.

Here are our NFL free picks and predictions for Raiders vs Jets, December 6 (1:00 p.m. ET).

Against the Spread (ATS) Pick

The Raiders didn’t show up in Week 12, losing 43-6 to the Julio Jones-less Falcons. John Gruden’s team turned the ball over five times and amassed 11 penalties for an incredible 141 yards. They simply beat themselves as both Las Vegas and Atlanta gained 4.2 yards per play and neither team topped 310 yards of total offense.

The Jets will likely be facing a determined team, as Gruden will get his squad motivated after an apparent poor week of preparation. I hope the Raiders enjoy running in practice this week.

Sam Darnold finally had all three of his receivers at his disposal in Week 12, and he managed a whopping three points. Joe Flacco may be a better option than Darnold at this point, as Darnold ranks dead-last in most QB categories including QBR and yards per pass thrown.

PREDICTION: Las Vegas -7.5 (-110)

Over/Under Pick

The Raiders have only seen one total of less than 50 points over their last 10 games. Removing the game in Cleveland that was in a typhoon, Las Vegas’ games are averaging 58 total points since the beginning of October. The problem this week is the New York offense.

In five of their last seven games, Gang Green has scored 10 or fewer points. Their 1.4 TDs per game is the lowest mark in the league. They can’t score. They can’t win.

Defensively, the strength of this Jets is on the ground. New York’s Top-10 rush defense matches up well against the Raiders’ Top-10 rushing offense and with Derek Carr’s four turnovers last week, the Raiders may be more run-oriented than usual.

Sam Darnold is 0-4 O/U this year in games of totals of 42 or more.

PREDICTION: Under 47.5 (-110)

Double Result Prop Pick

We can get the Raiders to win the first half and win the game for -130? Sign us up.

New York has 11 losses on the season, and in those 11 games, its opponents have won the first half (and the game) in nine of them. Miami won us some money last week with a double-result win (win first half and game) against the Jets and we’re going back with what works in Week 13.

New York is scoring just 7 points per first half, so it isn’t hard for its opponents to jump out to an early lead and never look back. If you’re scared of the -7.5, look for the Las Vegas double result which is reasonably priced for a near eight-point road favorite.

PREDICTION: Double result: Las Vegas — Las Vegas (-130)

Raiders vs Jets Betting Card

  • Las Vegas -7.5 (-110)
  • Under 47.5 (-110)
  • Double result: Las Vegas — Las Vegas (-130)
