Super Bowl odds line movement this week
Risers
Atlanta Falcons (+20000 to +8000)
Somehow, someway, the Atlanta Falcons are in control of their own destiny and are in line to win the NFC South.
Because of that, their Super Bowl odds have shortened from +20000 to +8000, but I believe that number is nowhere near true value.
Michael Penix Jr. is starting his second career game (first road start) against a good Washington Commanders team in Week 17, so this +8000 may be short-lived.
Cincinnati Bengals (+25000 to +10000)
Just when you think the Cincinnati Bengals are dead, they come back to life and have an outside shot of sneaking into the playoffs.
While they must win out and hope for some results to go their way, their SB odds have shortened to +10000.
Is there a scarier team to face in the Wild Card round in the AFC than Joe Burrow & Co.?
Fallers
Philadelphia Eagles (+450 to +600)
While I'm not saying the sky is falling for the Philadelphia Eagles, blowing that game last week against the Commanders has left some cause for concern.
Not only was the defense torched (despite causing five turnovers), but Jalen Hurts left the game with a potential concussion, and Kenny Pickett didn't look good in relief.
Their Super Bowl odds lengthened a bit, and they could still lengthen if Hurts can't bounce back quickly.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+4000 to +6600)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the driver's seat in the NFC South but veered off track in Dallas in a shocking loss.
Now, they are on the outside of the playoffs looking in, despite having an arguably better season than the Falcons.
Their Super Bowl odds have lengthened to +6600, but with games left against the Panthers and Saints, the Bucs may be able to sneak in.
