Parlay Pick 1
PARLAY: Kansas City Chiefs -9.5 (-110) + New Orleans Saints Q1 Under 6.5 (-110) = +264
Kansas City Chiefs -9.5 (-110)
The Kansas City Chiefs have turned their season around in a hurry, putting together a five-game winning streak, and find themselves on top of the AFC West with an 8-4 record. Throughout that five-game winning streak, Kansas City has held opponents to 11.2 points per game. The Chiefs take on familiar foes in the Las Vegas Raiders this week, as they already crushed the Raiders in Week 10 by a score of 41-14, with Patrick Mahomes throwing for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns on the road.
The last time these two teams met in Arrowhead it was the Raiders playing spoiler, pulling off the 40-32 upset. With Kansas City trending in the right direction, look for another big showing once again.
New Orleans Saints first quarter Under 6.5 (-110)
The New Orleans Saints travel to New York to take on the Jets. Taysom Hill has been nursing a finger injury and although he is expected to start, it brings up legitimate concerns. The good news for the Saints - the Jets rank 30th in run defense and should be able to control the clock at least early on.
As for both teams, slow starts have been an issue all season long - the Jets rank 21st in first quarter points per game averaging 3, while the Saints are dead last. They have been held scoreless in five straight first quarters in games. Look for their slow starts to continue.
Parlay Pick 2
PARLAY: Austin Ekeler anytime touchdown (-125) + Taylor Heinicke longest completion Over 34.5 (-115) = +236
Austin Ekeler anytime touchdown (-125)
The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off their biggest win of the season last week, a 41-22 victory versus the Cincinnati Bengals. As poor as their defense has been all season, offensively they have shown time and time again they can light up the scoreboard.
For the Chargers, Austin Ekeler has been a huge part of their offensive success. He’s found the end zone 15 times, with eight on the ground and seven times through the air. Look for him to find the end zone at least once as he continues to be a focal part of their offense.
Taylor Heinicke longest completion Over 34.5 (-115)
The Cowboys’ defense has struggled to defend the pass and has been susceptible to long plays. Dallas has surrendered 10 passing plays of 40 or more yards, and give up the fourth-most passing plays of 20 or more yards.
Although the Washington Football Team hasn't been explosive in terms of long yardage completions, they are in a good matchup and will likely look to get it going through the air. All it takes is one missed tackle for this wager to come through and I expect the volume of attempts will be there for this bet to cash.
