Fresh off the heels of a +5.4 unit day, we go again today with an even better betting board.
Today, my NHL player props are backing the Ducks on the second game of a back-to-back, stacking the top line of the Panthers as Alex Barkov's point total has dropped to 0.5, and fading the Oilers in the Nation's Capital.
Read below for more about my NHL picks for November 19.

Today’s NHL prop picks and best bets
Prop bet #1: Troy Terry + Ryan Strome Over 0.5 points each
The Chicago Blackhawks are somehow -175 favorites tonight as they host the Anaheim Ducks who looked great last night in a 4-2 win over the Dallas Stars. This lopsided — and mispriced — moneyline is lending value to Anaheim play prop markets like points. There are two lines to target today here for the Ducks in terms of stacks and that's the Alex Killorn/Trevor Zegras pairing or a combination of Frank Vatrano, Troy Terry, and Ryan Strome. It's a tough decision but at some of these prices (+375 for the Killor/Zegras pair and +445 for the trio), it's hard to go wrong.
Both lines played the exact same last night at 5-on-5, per MoneyPuck at 12:13 while each group got exactly 50 seconds of power-play time. My favorite Over point stack is with center Strome and his linemate Terry. The pair to each record a point today vs. a Chicago team that hasn't scored more than one goal in regulation in five straight games is +250. The Killorn/Zegras is a close second at +375.
I like the Ducks on the ML at this price and these line stacks are some of the highest odds available on today's slate. Nobody should be betting the Blackhawks on the ML today and the Anaheim stacks are all worth playing.
Prop bet #2: Alex Barkov + Sam Reinhart Over 0.5 points each
The Winnipeg Jets are riding a bit of a slump having lost two straight for the first time all season and now have to rebound at home vs. a team they just lost to 5-0 on Saturday. The Florida Panthers aren't falling for the all-Winnipeg hype and showed them who the defending champs were just three days ago. Florida is 8-2 SU in its last 10 games with those only two losses coming at the hands of the Devils.
Across that 10-game stretch, Alex Barkov and Sam Reinhart have combined for 32 points (11G, 21A) with Barkov only dressing for eight of those matches. Due to the tough matchup on paper, Barkov's point prop has dropped from 1.5 to 0.5, meaning a stack with him and Reinhart for a point each is possible tonight and paying +134.
Since returning to the lineup after an eight-game absence, Barkov has 16 points in eight games, has pointed in each match, and recorded a multi-point effort in four games. This line stack is a perfect 8-0 since Barkov's return. Reinhart has a point in 10 straight games.
This is an easy stack to add to the card tonight even in a potentially low-scoring game.
Prop bet #3: Brady Tkachuk + Josh Norris Over 0.5 points each
The Edmonton Oilers were blanked last night by the lowly Canadiens and now have a quick turnaround vs. the Ottawa Senators and will likely have Stuart Skinner in net. The goalie is starting to lose his grip on the No.1 job as he has allowed 3+ goals in all but two of his 10 starts this year. He has been consistently below average all season and sports an ugly .877 save percentage over a decent 12-game sample. The Oilers are also -120 favorites at Ottawa tonight without a key defenseman in Darnell Nurse.
That has me looking for a line stack with the Senators tonight who enter this evening with an above-average scoring offense and the No. 6 power play in hockey. They were shut out in their last game vs. the Canes, but winning in Carolina is not an easy task.
The two line stacks to consider here are Brady Tkachuk/Josh Norris (+196) and Tim Stutzle/Drake Batherson (+166). These pairs skated together at practice on Monday and played PP1 together. I'm riding the higher price with Tkachuk/Norris tonight. It's 30 points better and the line has the best xG% on the team and a similar xG/60 as the lower-priced Stutzle line.
The Oilers have a struggling goalie and are missing a key defender. It's a great matchup for Ottawa tonight who, like the Ducks, are being undervalued on the ML tonight.
