Avalanche vs Lightning Game 6 Props: Bolts Trio Gives it Their All

With the series on the line, Tampa Bay was able to escape Colorado with a victory, forcing a Game 6 at home. With the Cup in attendance once again, we're betting on the Bolts' core to step up and perform at the highest level in our Game 6 player props.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have their season on the line once again, but tonight they will be on home ice with the opportunity to force a Game 7.

The Colorado Avalanche could win the Stanley Cup tonight (currently favored at -400), but they are going to have to beat a tough Tampa team in its building. The Bolts will be the more desperate team and for that reason, I have my eyes on Ondrej Palat, Nikita Kucherov, and Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Here are our best free NHL player prop picks for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Friday, June 26.

Avalanche vs Lightning Game 6 props

Ondrej Palat scored his team-leading 11th goal in Game 5 and that tally ultimately held up as the game winner. He is second on the team in points with 11 markers and nine assists, but he also seems to up his game when he plays at home.

Palat has three goals and one assist in this series thus far, but if Tampa is going to be successful it's going to need Palat — along with his linemates — to lead the way.

He is currently averaging 0.91 points per game and I have a strong feeling that he will contribute once again in Game 6.

Ondrej Palat prop pick: Over 0.5 points

Nikita Kucherov has been the guy that the Lightning have relied upon offensively and for the third straight postseason, he has led the way. As of now, Kucherov has eight goals and 19 assists in 22 games, but in this series, he only has one goal three assists.

Kucherov always steps up when his team needs him most and he has become one of the best playmakers in the NHL, especially in the playoffs. There is no doubt that Kucherov plays better on home ice, as he has four markers and 10 apples in 10 playoff games at Amalie thus far.

He will be setting up his teammates all night, so bank on him to tally an assist.

Nikita Kucherov prop pick: Over 0.5 assists (-115)

Andrei Vasilevskiy has been outstanding in the postseason (currently +700 to win the Conn Smythe) and he is probably the goalie that every team would want to have in this situation. He has been incredible on home ice in the playoffs, sporting an 8-2 record with a 1.82 GAA and a .944 SV%.

Colorado throws a ton of shots on goal and in this series it is averaging 36.2 shots on goal per game. Vasilevskiy will be tested a ton tonight, but he has surpassed tonight's save total in the last three games, and I expect him to do it again with the Stanley Cup on the line.

Andrei Vasilevskiy prop pick: Over 33.5 saves (-130)
