With three wins in his last four starts and a second Masters title to boot, Scottie Scheffler has the game of golf in the palm of his hands.
His run of insanely short golf odds will last at least another week with the World No. 1 fetching a +400 price to win at Harbour Town this week after posting a T11 result in his debut here a season ago.
We break down his chances as well as a field that includes Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and more in our full RBC Heritage betting preview below.

RBC Heritage picks and predictions
Patrick Cantlay over Collin Morikawa (+104)
Collin Morikawa is certainly trending up after a T3 at the Masters but it’s still shocking to see him favored over a Harbour Town course horse like Patrick Cantlay this week.
It’s actually something of a miracle he hasn’t won here when you look at the results: he has a runner-up, three third-place finishes, and a T7 to his name in six career tips. Take away a missed cut in 2021 and you’re looking at an average finish of 3.6.
He’s fresh off a T22 at Augusta where he ranked ninth in strokes gained approach and 13th from tee-to-green but looking past the Masters, the recent form for these guys is a wash going back to the start of February.
That takes us back to the course history, where Cantlay gets a big-time nod over Morikawa’s track record of T31, T26, T7, and T64 finishes in four tries. We’re also fetching a nice price with Cantlay a -113 favorite at Pinnacle.
Pick: Patrick Cantlay over Collin Morikawa (+104 at BetRivers)
Cam Davis Top 20 (+170)
There are some encouraging signs with Cam Davis’ game after his most recent T12 at Augusta National.
He finished the week 12th on approach and 22nd from tee to green and when you combine that with ranking 10th in putting, you get the best result of his season so far. With that said, the signs were there considering the Aussie went T21 or better in three of his five prior starts.
That brings him back to Harbour Town, where he’s gone T25-T3-T7 in three career trips while ranking fourth from tee to green a season ago. If his performance at Augusta is any indication, another good week is coming.
Pick: Cam Davis Top 20 (+170 at DraftKings)
RBC Heritage field and favorites
The story of this PGA Tour season has been and continues to be Scottie Scheffler. The runaway World No. 1 parlayed wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and THE PLAYERS into a second Green Jacket win last week.
He now returns to the RBC Heritage as a +400 betting favorite a year removed from a T11 result in his Harbour Town debut.
Xander Schauffele is running second on the board at 11/1 after an eighth-place finish at Augusta. That's the latest result in a run that includes nine Top 10s in his last 12 starts. He also finished fourth here last season and led the field in strokes gained tee-to-green.
Rory McIlroy rounds out the Top 3 despite being in a weird place post-Masters. He's logged six straight Top 25s and hasn't missed a cut in over a year despite only one of those six finishes being better than T19. He's coming off a disappointing T22 finish at Augusta and his stock is trending down as a result.
The opposite is true for Ludvig Aberg, whose stock is sky-high after finishing runner-up in his first major championship start last week. He's now into the odds board's Top 5 and has solidified himself as a true contender.
Defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick is eighth on the board at +2,200 after edging out Jordan Spieth in a playoff a year ago.
