Group C action at Euro 2024 gets underway Sunday, June 16 with a very important fixture between Slovenia and Denmark.

My analysis
If Slovenia or Denmark are to have any shot at progressing out of Group C, this game and the points that come with it are vital. Three points will give the winner the inside track, while a draw certainly isn't the worst outcome. A loss, however, would put qualification in jeopardy as Serbia and England lie in wait in the second and third games for these two teams.
Because of that, I believe this game is going to be played at almost a snail's pace, with both teams not wanting to venture too far forward for fear of getting caught out.
If we look at Denmark's recent form, there's nothing that jumps off the page. They skated by Euro qualifying, capturing 22 points out of a possible 30 against the likes of Finland, Kazakhstan, Northern Ireland, and San Marino. They did, however, face Slovenia twice as they were in the same group, and those games ended 1-1 and 2-1 in favor of Slovenia.
Given the familiarity between the two sides, it's hard to imagine either team breaking out offensively. Slovenia have very little by way of offensive star power, relying on 21-year-old Benjamin Sesko to do the bulk of the scoring. While Denmark will rely on Rasmus Hojlund to lead the line, in what is a very unproven starting XI.
I've got no issues with the price on the Under in what I expect to be a 1-0 win for either side.

We're going to keep it short and sweet for our first SGP of Euro 2024. If we like the Under 2.5 and are expecting a 1-0 result either way, it only makes sense to throw both teams to score — No — into the mix.
I'm expecting this game to be played with a cautious approach and I don't see a barrage of chances in the opening 45 minutes.
