Saturday’s final Premier League clash sees Everton host Leicester City at Goodison Park. When you think about these two teams’ seasons, you think of Everton playing well and Leicester really struggling, but if Leicester win on Saturday they’ll be level on points.
Everton are 12th, six spots higher than Leicester but in terms of points the gap isn’t too big and there are still plenty of clubs who are in danger of relegation. Don’t miss our Everton vs. Leicester City picks and predictions.

Everton vs Leicester City picks and predictions
The biggest issue for Everton is goals, and star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has spent most of the season injured and without him, the team just doesn’t look as dangerous. They’re still missing the goals of Richarlison, too, who left for Spurs in the summer.
The general feeling is that Leicester have had a nightmare season and that’s certainly true to an extent. There have been multiple times this season when it felt like Brendan Rodgers was set to be sacked but the club have stood by him and now the team is playing well. Leicester have had no problems scoring but they’ve been awful at the back but Rodgers has seemingly improved that in the past month.
As much as I love what Frank Lampard has done at Goodison Park, the difference between these two teams is nowhere near as big as the six places in the table would suggest. When you look at both teams’ expected goals against, you can see that despite Leicester conceding 25 goals and Everton half that with 12, they have pretty much the same xGA.
With Leicester’s defense improving, this really feels like a game in which they should be able to leave with something. I think Leicester will probably win but I can’t rule out the draw, so for that reason, I’m betting Leicester to win/draw no bet.
My best bet: Leicester City to win/draw no bet (+115 at DraftKings)

Everton vs Leicester City side analysis
Everton will set up in a 4-2-3-1 and they’ll be hoping that Dominic Calvert-Lewin can find the back of the net. The team’s far better with him in it and it’s taken the pressure off Anthony Gordon, who was having to act as both the team's main creative outlet and goalscorer.
Gordon will now support Calvert-Lewin, alongside Demarai Gray and Alex Iwobi. Iwobi has been reborn this season and is playing the best of his career.
Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye will anchor the midfield and they’ll be tasked with stopping James Maddison from creating behind Jamie Vardy.
Maddison is the key man for Leicester and he’s arguably the best player in the Premier League outside of the big six clubs. In just 11 Premier League games this season he’s scored six and added two assists. He’ll help supply Jamie Vardy with through balls but alongside him will be Youri Tielemans, Harvey Barnes, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who are all capable of scaring Everton.
Everton vs Leicester City Over/Under analysis
It’s a close call for the sportsbooks on the total, with the Over priced at -106 and Under at -116.
Unders makes sense for Everton, especially at their home ground. This season, 30.8% of all of Everton’s games have seen fewer than three goals, including four of six home games. They now have their first choice back four of Vitaliy Mykolenko, James Tarkowski, Connor Coady, and Nathan Patterson back fit.
Despite the bookies having it close I’d lean towards backing the Over. We’ve seen Over 2.5 in 69.2% of Leicester’s games this season, especially as they’ve struggled defensively at times. Amazingly, all six of their away games have seen three or more goals.
