Liverpool is fresh off a six-goal trouncing of Tottenham, and we expect plenty more goals to come against Leicester City on Boxing Day.

It should be snowing goals in this Boxing Day clash, as Liverpool look to put up a performance besides securing three points against Leicester.

The authoritarian Premier League leaders should embrace the opportunity to enchant Anfield's faithful on Christmas against a team that conceded seven goals in it's last two games without being able to score any. Here are my Liverpool v Leicester predictions and free betting picks for Thursday, December 26.

EPL predictions for Liverpool vs Leicester City

My best bet:
Over 3.5 (-179 at TonyBet)

My analysis
Liverpool are fresh from hitting the net six times against Tottenham on Sunday. They sit top of the Premier League on 39 points, four clear of second-placed Chelsea with a game in hand.

They're enjoying a tremendous campaign, with 21 wins in the 25 games. As such, it's easy to imagine Leicester leaving Anfield empty-handed on Boxing Day.

This traditional round of Christmas football in the Premier League has a reputation for utter entertainment. I don't expect it to be any different when Liverpool and Leicester meet on Thursday.

Liverpool have scored at least twice in each of their last nine Premier League games, and keeping the run going shouldn't be an issue on this occasion either.

There have been Over 2.5 goals in Leicester's previous seven matches, so the stats are backing a high-scoring match. The Over 3.5 goals at -179 via TonyBet is what I'm going for, but if you feel adventurous, note that the Over 4.5 goals can be had at +123 and the 5.5 at +254.

Liverpool vs Leicester City same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 3.5

Mo Salah 2+ goals

Leicester City Over 2.5 corners

We're not even halfway into the Premier League season, but Mo Salah is already close to beating his goal tally from the past two campaigns (19 apiece).

He's now at 15 goals, and he's fresh from a double against Spurs in Liverpool's 6-3 win on Sunday. Over the past month, he hit three braces (against Southampton, Newcastle, and Tottenham), so it's not difficult to imagine he could do the same against Leicester.

The visiting side is aware of Liverpool's attacking force and will look at set-pieces as a way to maximize their small chances to get something from this game. Having Leicester at Over 2.5 corners to round out a juicy parlay is more than tempting. Their average after 17 matches is 3.52 per game.
