We have midweek Premier League action with Nottingham Forest and Manchester United meeting today at the City Ground.
Forest are fresh from reaching the FA Cup semifinals after winning over Brighton, but my Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United predictions think that game could have a big impact here, helping United to seal the victory.
Read on for my Premier League picks for Tuesday, April 1, with kickoff at 3:00 p.m. ET on Peacock Premium.

My best bet: Manchester United to win (+215 at TonyBet)
My analysis
There are three reasons why this is the best value wager on.
Firstly, Forest’s recent exploits. On Saturday, they sealed a spot in the FA Cup semifinals, but that game finished 0-0 in regular time before eventually needing a penalty shootout.
While Forest were playing 120 minutes of high-stakes soccer and then undergoing the mental pressure of the shootout, Man United were resting, with no game this weekend.
United’s last fixture was on March 16, and while some of their stars went on international break, they’ve had more rest time, meaning they’ll be fresher and ready to go. That’s before we even consider how Forest’s FA Cup win might have impacted them mentally: will their stars now be focused on this real chance to win silverware?
The rest for United has also seen them welcome back players. Patrick Dorgu is back from a suspension, while Lenny Yoro, Harry Maguire, and Luke Shaw are all back training. That’s four players who would all improve this backline, and we can expect Maguire and Yoro to start on Tuesday.
Over in Nottingham, they’ve had fewer injuries, but they could be missing key players Tuesday. Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed Chris Wood is a major doubt and could miss a second game after getting injured playing for New Zealand in the international break.
At the same time, Morgan Gibbs-White is doubtful, having taken a big hit against a goalpost on Saturday. It’s likely at least one — if not both — will be missing, and Forest can’t afford to lose their two best players.
Then there’s United. It’s been a very difficult season for the club, but it feels like they’ve slowly started to turn a corner. In December, the team slumped to six defeats, and things looked like they’d got worse rather than better, under Ruben Amorim. In the three months following, they’ve lost just four games and have reached the Europa League quarterfinal stage.
There’s still work to do for United, but they’ve shown signs of improvement and come into this game with a far healthier and rested squad.
Combine that with Forest’s injuries and FA Cup exploits, and you can see the odds for Amorim’s men to take all three points on the road are very generous.
Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United same-game parlay (SGP)
Forest have been very strong at home this season, especially in the first halves of games. They’re the only team in the Premier League not to be losing at halftime in a single home game.
Not only that, but they’ve given up just one first-half goal at the City Ground. Man Utd have enough to win this game, but they’ll need to do the bulk of the work in the second half.
United haven’t been scoring at will this, however, that’s changed slightly in recent weeks, with four of their past seven games in all competitions seeing them score at least two goals.
The three exceptions were to a great Arsenal defense, and two Cup games that were more cagey than regular league fixtures. Meanwhile, we’ve seen Forest concede at least two goals in three of their past five in the Premier League.
