Monday sees Sheffield United taking on Arsenal in the final Premier League game of this matchweek.

The home side is stuck in the relegation zone and needs a miracle to escape and avoid going down. Meanwhile, the visitors came into the weekend two points behind Liverpool at the top of the table.

Can Arsenal get another valuable three points to aid their Premier League title bid or will Sheffield United be able to snatch something from the game? Don't miss our free betting picks below to find out.

Sheffield United vs Arsenal best odds

EPL predictions for Sheffield United vs Arsenal

We have a potentially excellent game under the floodlights from Bramall Lane with Sheffield United welcoming Arsenal. There’s a huge gulf in class between these teams but that doesn‘t stop this potentially being a fascinating game, with stakes high on both sides.

Sadly for fans of the Blades, they don’t stand a chance of taking a point, let alone winning this game, which is why I'm all in on the Gunners with my best bet.

The Blades have been a sieve for goals this season. Their defense simply isn’t good enough and they give up goals too easily. They’ve averaged 2.53 conceded goals game this season, an astonishingly bad number. They’ve given up 66 goals in 26 games, which is a full eight goals worse than the next-worst team in Burnley.

The likes of Jack Robinson, Auston Trusty, and Anel Aahmedhodzic are honest, hard-working players but they’re not at the level to compete with Arsenal, and with the likes of Mason Holgate suspended, it just makes them weaker at the back. They’ve given up 3+ goals in each of their past three games and are likely to do so again here.

The Gunners are the second-highest-scoring team in the Premier League and have the potential to maul the home team. We’ve seen in recent weeks that when they take the lead, they’re very good at blasting them to pieces and expanding those leads.

We've seen Arsenal score 18 goals in their past four games and three of those four games were against teams in the top half of the Premier League table. This isn’t a good Sheffield United team and they won’t be able to keep the Gunners at bay.

My best bet: Arsenal -2.5 (+131 at TonyBet)

Sheffield United vs Arsenal same-game parlay

Arsenal to win by 3+ goals

Arsenal to win the first half

Bukayo Saka to score

In addition to our best bet of Arsenal winning by 3+ goals, we’re also going to add the Gunners to be up at the halfway point.

They have the third-best record when it comes to those opening frames, scoring 25 first-half goals and winning 10 of 26 games at the interval. They’re even better away from home where they rank as the second-best team in the Premier League in that category.

That’s in real contrast to Sheffield United, who've been losing at halftime in 50% of their league games this season and have allowed an average of one goal per game in the first half.

Finally, we’ll back Bukayo Saka to score. Through 25 games, we’ve seen the 22-year-old score 13 Premier League goals and he’s currently averaging three shots per game, something that’s likely to increase against a defense like that of Sheffield United.

He’s scored seven goals in his past six games in all competitions and has a very good chance of bagging again here.

Sheffield United vs Arsenal side and Over/Under analysis

At odds of -556, you’re not getting any real value on Arsenal winning this if you’re betting on the moneyline but it’s hard to see it not happening. The draw is +680 and a home win is a huge +1,400. Arsenal are almost certain to win this one but backing them at odds of -556 isn’t worth the risk.

We should see a high-scoring game too with bookies offering -233 on Over 2.5 goals and +195 on Under 2.5 goals. You’ve seen my best bet for the game which involves Arsenal scoring at least three goals, so it’s easy to see where I land on this but the numbers also back it up.

Arsenal have seen Over 2.5 goals in 65.4% of their Premier League games this season with Sheffield United having Over 2.5 goals in 76.9% of their home games, including each of their past four.
