Soccer's domestic season is underway and teams are still looking to finalize their roster and push the right buttons.
For some heavy hitters like Bayern Munich it means acquiring world-class talent such as Harry Kane. For others, it means shipping outcasts out the door for pennies on the dollar (looking at you PSG/Neymar). Either way, the lead-up to transfer deadline day on September 1 is going to be quality entertainment.

Dusan Vlahovic's move to Juventus from Fiorentina was supposed to be a revelation for both player and club. Vlahovic got the transfer to a European power and Juventus thought they found the striker they've long been looking for. Fast forward two years later and the big Serbian forward is looking for a way out after notching just 23 goals in 63 goals in all competitions.
A rumored move to Chelsea was in the works with Romelu Lukaku being sent Juventus' way along with upwards of £17 million.
However, Juventus may have had a change of heart and appear set to keep the striker. This is one saga that is likely to go right down to the eleventh hour on transfer deadline day.

While many football fans outside of Italy may not know who Nicolo Barrella is, your favorite team is desperate to sign him. Barella is a young Italian midfielder that stirs the drink for Inter Milan. He controls the game, he's got excellent vision and outstanding creative ability. He's one of the first name on the team sheets for both club and country and with heavyweights like Liverpool and Man City all lining up bids north of €80 million, his name is one you should familiarize yourself with.
Will Inter sell him? The answer is unknown, but Barella has indicated several times that he'd prefer to stay with the team.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
That was Victor Osimhen's season in a nutshell for Serie A winning Napoli. The Nigerian international was an integral part of Napoli's squad and he netted 26 league goals on route to winning the Capocannoniere as the league's top score.
With that territory comes the heavy-hitters looking to capitalize on an in-form striker, but Napoli has turned away all suitors except for one — Saudi Arabia.
It's being rumor that Osimhen was offered €1 million per week from Al Hilal, but the striker turned it down.
Napoli is now in position to retain his services as they look to defend their Serie A crown.

Best known for his antics for Argentina in Copa America and World Cup action, Emiliano Martinez is looking for another team as Aston Villa look to capitalize on his value.
Martinez has been linked to Chelsea and Inter Milan since the start of the preseason but Milan's signing of Yann Sommer and Chelsea's unwillingness to make a bid worthwhile has left the keeper's future in limbo. Bayern Munich could be looking for a No.1 to hold the fort while Manuel Neuer is away from the team, and Manchester United may need a replacement for David De Gea sooner rather than later.
Martinez's transfer saga is an interesting subplot to keep an eye on through the end of August.
