SAN DIEGO -- Jabari Blash and Manuel Margot homered in a four-run fourth-inning Tuesday night as the San Diego Padres rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the San Francisco Giants 6-3 at Petco Park.
Padres starter Luis Perdomo (7-8) retired 14 of the last 16 Giants he faced as San Diego resumed its recent domination of San Francisco.
The Padres, who snapped a four-game losing streak, have won eight of their last 11 games against the Giants and are 17-8 against them since losing the first nine meetings between the teams in 2016.
Blash tied the score at 2 with his fifth homer of the season on the first pitch offered by Giants left-hander Matt Moore to open the fourth.
Moore then hit Cory Spangenberg with a pitch and walked Austin Hedges before getting a force on Spangenberg at third on a comebacker by Perdomo.
Margot then drove a 1-and-2 fastball from Moore 407 feet into the left field stands -- the three-run shot putting the Padres ahead 5-2. Blash's homer traveled 414 feet to left.
The Giants took an early 2-0 lead as Spangenberg and Perdomo struggled in the second.
Joe Panik opened the inning with a single and moved to second when Spangenberg couldn't field Nick Hundley's grounder for an error. After Ryder Jones flied out to right, Moore placed a perfect bunt toward third for a single with Panik scoring on Spangenberg's errant throw to first. Denard Span singled home Hundley with Moore stopping at third.
Hunter Pence drew a walk to load the bases. But Perdomo threw a called third strike past Jarrett Parker for the second out and Pablo Sandoval flied out to end the inning.
The Padres got one run back in the bottom of the second on four hits. Wil Myers and Yangervis Solarte opened the inning with consecutive singles in front of a double-play grounder by Blash. Spangenberg then drove home Myers with an infield single.
Moore (4-13) allowed five runs, eight hits and a walk in five innings to move into a tie for the most losses in the National League.
Perdomo allowed two runs (one earned), seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in six innings.
The Padres added a sixth run in the sixth on a leadoff double by Spangenberg and a two-out RBI single by Carlos Asuaje.
Panik reduced the deficit to 6-3 with his ninth homer of the season with two outs in the eighth off Kirby Yates.
Padres closer Brad Hand pitched the ninth for his 13th save.
