San Francisco Giants vs Colorado Rockies Match Player Stats On May 30, 2018

Buster Posey, Brandon Crawford, Mac Williamson and Andrew McCutchen had two hits apiece to help the Giants salvage the finale of the three-game series at Coors Field. San Francisco won for just the second time in eight games.

Nolan Arenado homered for Colorado while Jon Gray struggled for the fourth straight start.

Arenado gave the Rockies a 3-0 lead with his 11th homer in the first inning, but the Giants got two runs back in the second. Crawford scored on a wild pitch by Gray, and Pablo Sandoval drove in Williamson with a single.

Charlie Blackmon extended Colorado's lead to 4-2 with an RBI single in the second, but Holland settled down after that. The lefty allowed one hit after the second inning and worked out of trouble in the fifth after walking Arenado and Trevor Story with two outs.

Holland (3-6) allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks. He didn't struck out a batter.

While Holland shut down the Rockies, his offense rallied. Gray walked both Gorkys Hernandez and Posey with the bases loaded in the fourth, tying the game 4-4.

Gray allowed four runs on six hits and three walks in 3 1/3 innings. He fanned five.

Harrison Musgrave got McCutchen to ground into a double play to end the fourth-inning threat, but San Francisco took the lead in the fifth.

Musgrave (0-1) hit Brandon Belt with a pitch to start the inning. Longoria followed with a triple to center to score Belt, and then he came home on a single by Crawford.

Posey had an RBI single in the eighth to give the Giants a three-run lead.

The Rockies had runners on second and third with two outs in the ninth off closer Hunter Strickland, but he got Arenado to pop out to shallow center field to end the game and earn his 11th save in 13 opportunities.
