Steven Duggar had two triples, a double and drove in three runs, Mike Yastrzemski homered among his two hits, and the San Francisco Giants beat the Colorado Rockies 12-3 in Denver on Tuesday night.
Brandon Crawford had three hits and Tommy La Stella and Brandon Belt had two hits apiece for San Francisco. The Giants (89-50) stayed a game ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West.
San Francisco's Logan Webb (9-3) allowed three runs on nine hits and struck out six in seven innings. He helped himself with an RBI double.
C.J. Cron had three hits and Charlie Blackmon and Rio Ruiz had two hits apiece for Colorado (63-76).
The Giants took control early against starter Chi Chi Gonzalez (3-7). La Stella, Belt and Buster Posey opened the game with doubles to drive in the first two runs and, one out later, Crawford singled to make it 3-0.
San Francisco scored twice in the second inning. With one out, Duggar hit his first triple and scored on Webb's double down the third base line. Webb scored on a single by La Stella and Belt followed with a single to end Gonzalez's night.
Gonzalez allowed five runs on eight hits in just 1 1/3 innings.
The Rockies got a run back in the fourth when Blackmon led off with a single and scored on the first of Cron's two doubles.
The Giants responded in the fifth. A double by LaMonte Wade and walks to Evan Longoria and Yastrzemski loaded the bases. Duggar tripled again to make it 8-1.
San Francisco put it away in the seventh. Wade walked and went to third on Crawford's single. Longoria grounded into a forceout to bring home Wade and then Yastrzemski homered, his 22nd, to make it 11-1.
Colorado got two back in the bottom of the inning. Ryan McMahon doubled, moved to third on Garrett Hampson's single and scored on Joshua Fuentes' single. Hampson came home on a single by Ruiz.
Yastrzemski had an RBI single in the ninth.
