Teoscar Hernandez led off the bottom of the 12th with his second homer of the game and the Toronto Blue Jays came back from a seven-run deficit to defeat the visiting Tampa Bay Rays 10-9 on Saturday afternoon.
The first career walkoff homer by Hernandez -- and his 14th homer this season -- came against Emilio Pagan (2-2).
The Blue Jays bullpen retired 21 straight batters to finish the game with Daniel Hudson (6-2) contributing a perfect 12th to earn the win.
Willy Adames and Travis d'Arnaud each hit a three-run homer in the second inning to help the Rays build a 9-2 lead by the top of the sixth.
The Blue Jays tied it with four runs in the ninth. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a three-run homer with no outs in the ninth against Oliver Drake and Brandon Drury -- who had four hits -- tied it with his second homer of the game with two out in the ninth against Colin Poche.
Cavan Biggio added a solo homer for Toronto.
Toronto starter Ryan Borucki lasted two innings, allowing six runs, eight hits and two walks.
The Blue Jays scored once in the first against Rays opener Andrew Kittredge, who struck out seven over three innings while allowing two runs.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. beat out an infield single with two out in the first and scored on Randal Grichuk's double.
The Rays scored six in the second. Adames hit his 11th homer this season after Michael Brosseau doubled and Guillermo Heredia singled. After Tommy Pham walked and Austin Meadows singled, d'Arnaud hit his 12th homer this season.
Biggio ended a 0-for-17 drought in the second inning with his seventh homer.
The Rays added two runs in the third against Sam Gaviglio. Heredia, Adames and Matt Duffy singled for one run. Pham's groundout scored the other.
The Rays scored a run in the sixth against Wilmer Font on Heredia's sacrifice fly that followed d'Arnaud's walk and Joey Wendle's double.
Drury hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth to score Guerrero, who had doubled. It was the only run allowed in four innings by Tampa Bay's Jalen Beeks.
Drury and Hernandez followed with back-to-back homers with two out in the eighth against Hunter Wood.
Gurriel led off the bottom of the ninth with his third hit of the game, a double, against Drake. Grichuk walked and Guerrero hit his 10th homer. Adam Kolarek came in to strike out Biggio. Poche struck out Danny Jansen before Drury tied the game with his 11th homer this season.
After Ken Giles had a perfect top of the 10th, Poche got two outs in the bottom of the 10th before Pagan rook over.
Tim Mayza threw a perfect top of the 11th. Pagan pitched around two walks in the bottom of the 11th.
