Last Meeting ( Oct 2, 2012 ) LA Angels 1, Seattle 6

Rookie Mike Trout is one stolen base away from achieving a historic feat as the Los Angeles Angels close their season against the host Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Trout is trying to join Eric Davis (1987) and Barry Bonds (1990) as the only players in major-league history with 30 homers and 50 steals in a single season. Trout is second in the American League with a .324 average, trailing only Triple Crown candidate Miguel Cabrera (.331) of the Detroit Tigers.

Seattle snapped a four-game skid by beating the Angels on Tuesday. Third baseman Kyle Seager homered to become the first Seattle player to reach 20 homers since 2009. Earlier in the day, the club announced it would move in the outfield fences for the 2013 campaign. Angels ace Jared Weaver is one of the candidates for the American League Cy Young Award, but he is 0-2 against the Mariners while going 20-2 against the rest of the teams in baseball. Seattle’s Jesus Montero hit three homers in the two games against Weaver.

Beavan has lost three of his last four outings. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings in his last start, giving up four runs (three earned) and four hits while losing to the Oakland Athletics. About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
