Last Meeting ( Sep 29, 2018 ) Detroit 5, Milwaukee 6

The Milwaukee Brewers have a shot at their first division crown since 2011 when they wrap up the regular season against the visiting Detroit Tigers on Sunday. MVP favorite Christian Yelich slugged a pair of home runs to lead the Brewers to a 6-5 win over the Tigers on Saturday, pulling Milwaukee into a tie with the Chicago Cubs atop the National League Central.

If the Brewers and Cubs finish in a tie, they'll play Monday at Wrigley Field to decide the division. Yelich has five home runs, 16 RBIs and 10 runs scored over his last six games for Milwaukee, which has won six straight and will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Wild Card game if it finishes second to the Cubs. The Brewers will turn to lefty Gio Gonzalez in the pivotal matchup opposite rookie Spencer Turnbull for the Tigers. Detroit has dropped four in a row and is 26-54 on the road.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
