Colorado @ Los Angeles preview

Dodger Stadium

Last Meeting ( Sep 20, 2019 ) Colorado 5, LA Dodgers 12

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to sew up their second 100-win season in three years when they host the Colorado Rockies on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Los Angeles rolled to a 12-5 victory in the series opener to record win No. 99 while improving to 14-3 against Colorado this campaign.

The Rockies have dropped 12 straight games at Dodger Stadium, matching the longest skid by an opposing team during the ballpark's 58-season history. They held a 4-1 lead in Friday's contest, but Corey Seager and A.J. Pollock homered during a seven-run fourth inning as the Dodgers rallied for the easy victory and increased their season run total to 844, the most during the franchise's time in Los Angeles. Colorado's Charlie Blackmon went deep to reach 30 homers for the second time in his career while Nolan Arenado slugged his 41st to move within one of the career high he set in 2015. The Dodgers moved Walker Buehler up a day to start on Saturday in a switch of rotation spots with Hyun-Jin Ryu as the club eyes how it wants the staff to line up in the postseason.

About Units and “ROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
