Last Meeting ( Feb 12, 2019 ) Utah 108, Golden State 115

The Utah Jazz pulled off a pair of one-possession wins at home in the last week but are 1-3 on the road, where they will play eight of their next 12 games. The Jazz will try to avoid another road loss when they start that stretch by visiting the Golden State Warriors on Monday.

Utah knocked off a pair of Eastern Conference powerhouses in Philadelphia and Milwaukee in the last two games while holding both under 42 percent from the floor and getting standout performances on offense from Bojan Bogdanovic. The veteran swingman is averaging 21.8 points in his first season with the team and is fitting in nicely alongside star Donovan Mitchell, who told reporters of Bogdanovic, "he's made my life 10 times easier - he's made everybody's life 10 times easier." The Warriors have their own high-scoring perimeter player in point guard D'Angelo Russell but don't have much help to offer him with the rest of the All-Stars on the roster dealing with injuries. Golden State's injury list grew longer in a 114-108 loss at Oklahoma City on Saturday and the team will try to get well during a rough stretch of schedule that includes meetings with the top two teams in their respective conferences - the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics - coming up after Utah.

TV: 10:30 p.m. ET, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain (Utah), NBCS Bay Area (Golden State)

ABOUT THE JAZZ (6-3): Bogdanovic scored a season-high 33 points in Friday's 103-100 win over Milwaukee, including nailing the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer. "You like when a player tells you they want the shot," Utah coach Quin Snyder told reporters. "As a coach, usually that confidence that they have is something that can tilt it within reason. In this case, the whole team knew that Bojan wanted the ball. ... If you have players that are not afraid of the moment and can make reads and make decisions and want the ball, that's the best thing in the world." Bogdanovic scored at least 20 points in four of the last seven games and is shooting 45.5 percent from beyond the arc.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS (2-8): Russell scored 52 points in a 125-119 overtime loss at Minnesota on Friday and followed with 30 points the next night against the Thunder but Golden State's struggles on the defensive end popped up in both contests. "We showed spurts of being a great team, playing together and playing the right way," small forward Glenn Robinson III told reporters. "That's how we have to play all 48. From the jump, we have to get more stops." Robinson scored a season-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting Saturday and is getting plenty of playing time with Klay Thompson (knee), Stephen Curry (hand), Draymond Green (finger) and Kevon Looney (hamstring) out.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Warriors rookie F Eric Paschall (hip contusion) sat out Saturday and is day-to-day while PF Omari Spellman (ankle) left Saturday's game and is also day-to-day.

2. Jazz PG Dante Exum (knee) is practicing with the team and is close to making his season debut.

3. Utah took four of the last six in the series but fell 115-108 in its last trip to Golden State last season.

PREDICTION: Jazz 109, Warriors 96
