Anthony Davis looks to torment Memphis for the second time this season when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Grizzlies on Saturday. Davis recorded 40 points and 20 rebounds - the seventh such game in his career - when the Lakers rolled to a 120-91 home win over Memphis on Oct. 29.

Davis recorded another big performance on Friday as he had 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists during a 130-127 road victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Davis has been dealing with shoulder and rib injuries but indicated after the victory that he plans to play against Memphis as his club seeks its seventh straight win. The Grizzlies have lost back-to-back home games to the Denver Nuggets and Golden State by an average of 18 points and the players were highly disappointed by Tuesday's 114-95 loss to the Warriors. "Lack of energy," Memphis rookie forward Brandon Clarke told reporters. "They were just pretty much playing harder than us - beating us to the loose balls, beating us to the rebounds, just plays like that that added up and were the reason why we lost."

ABOUT THE LAKERS (13-2): Forward LeBron James contributed 23 points and 14 assists to complement Davis' stellar effort against the Thunder. "Our two big guns were great," Los Angeles coach Frank Vogel said after his NBA-best club held off the Thunder. "LeBron had 14 assists and A.D. made big shot after shot. Those two guys were great and we shot the ball well from the perimeter as a whole." Point guard Rajon Rondo could be facing some league discipline after thrusting his knee into the groin area of Oklahoma City guard Dennis Schroder and being ejected.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES (5-9): Rookie point guard Ja Morant had 20 points and six assists while reaching the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season but he was just 7-of-20 shooting against Golden State. "He is going to get a lot of coverages thrown at him," Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins told reporters. "Teams going under, him being confident enough to shoot it. But he can also attack." Clarke had 17 points in 26 minutes and has reached double digits in seven straight games.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. The Grizzlies won four of the previous six meetings prior to being routed last month.

2. Los Angeles SG Avery Bradley (leg) has missed four straight games and will also miss the final three games of the road trip.

3. Memphis G Grayson Allen (ankle) could be available to play for the first time since Nov. 2.

PREDICTION: Lakers 116, Grizzlies 107
