Last Meeting ( Nov 20, 2019 ) Orlando 97, Toronto 113

The Toronto Raptors' current five-game winning streak includes a win over Orlando at home, and the Raptors will try for a repeat performance versus the Magic when the teams meet in Florida on Friday. Toronto dominated the final three quarters en route to a 113-97 triumph over Orlando on Nov. 20, part of an 8-0 start at home for the defending champs.

The latest of those eight victories came Wednesday night against the New York Knicks, who were no match for the Raptors and Pascal Siakam in a 126-98 decision. "I'm just continuing to work hard," Siakam, who had 31 points in just 30 minutes, told reporters. "Shooting is a part of my game that I continue to work on." The loss in Toronto started a three-game slide for Orlando, but it was able to end the streak and pick up its first road win of the season with a 116-104 victory at Cleveland on Wednesday. The Magic continue to operate without starters Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon, both out with ankle injuries.

ABOUT THE RAPTORS (13-4): Siakam hit 5-of-8 3-pointers against the Knicks as he continues to show no hesitation from long range. "He saw a lot of space and he took it at times and he'd jab-step and pull back a few times early, and I love it," coach Nick Nurse told the media. "I think he's ultra-aggressive, a lot of catch-and-shoot threes, which I love. Those are easy possessions, he doesn't have to get pounded on or make three spin moves to get a shot up or anything." Backup forward Chris Boucher chipped in 13 points and a season-high 12 rebounds Wednesday for his third double-double in a five-game stretch.

ABOUT THE MAGIC (7-10):
Evan Fournier scored a season-high 30 points and had a pair of steals as Orlando salvaged the finale of a four-game road trip Wednesday. "The guys could have put their heads down and mailed it in at the end of a road trip, but they fought through it tonight," coach Steve Clifford told reporters. Four others scored in double figures in the win, including guard Markelle Fultz, who has surpassed the 10-point mark in a career-high six consecutive contests while shooting over 50 percent in that span.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Boucher also contributed a career-high four assists Wednesday.

2. Fournier is averaging 24.2 points over his last six games.

3. Raptors SG Fred VanVleet scored a game-high 24 points in the win over Orlando last week.

PREDICTION: Raptors 111, Magic 104
