Last Meeting ( Mar 10, 2019 ) Indiana 89, Philadelphia 106

Following a comeback road win, the Philadelphia 76ers will try to stay perfect at home when they host the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. The Sixers trailed by as many as 16 points late in the first half at the New York Knicks on Friday before storming back for a 101-95 win, their fifth in the past six games.

Three of the victories during the 5-1 stretch came at home, where Philadelphia is 8-0, tied with Toronto and Miami for the top marks in the NBA. "Our energy changed as well as our pace," forward Tobias Harris, who scored 13 of his 19 points after the break, told NBC Sports Philadelphia. "That was in the second half. We had a better sense of urgency in the second half." The Sixers figure to have a bit more rest than the Pacers, who needed overtime to get past Atlanta 105-104 at home Friday night. Jeremy Lamb led a balanced attack with 20 points as Indiana survived a 49-point performance by Atlanta's Trae Young to push its winning streak to a season-high five in a row.

ABOUT THE PACERS (12-6): All five Indiana starters scored between 16 and 20 points while attempting between 11 and 15 shots in the win over Atlanta. Center Myles Turner had his best offensive showing since the season opener with 17 points while playing 38 minutes, his highest total since returning from an ankle injury in the middle of the month. "We ran a few more plays for him (Turner) but we want to play the game," coach Nate McMillan told reporters. "Everybody got 10-plus touches tonight, which is great."

ABOUT THE 76ERS (13-6): Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 27 points and 17 rebounds in the win over the Knicks while reserve forward James Ennis III chipped in a season-high 20 points. The Sixers gave Al Horford the night off on the first half of a back-to-back and fellow big man Kyle O'Quinn was out with a calf strain, which gave Norvel Pelle an opportunity to make his NBA debut. The 6-10 rookie responded with four blocked shots and a pair of rebounds in a 13-minute performance.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Turner has at least three blocked shots in six straight games.

2. Embiid is 4-for-26 from 3-point range over his last seven contests.

3. Philadelphia took three of four meetings last season.

PREDICTION: 76ers 107, Pacers 100
