The Philadelphia 76ers will attempt to improve to 10-0 at home when they host the Utah Jazz on Monday. The Sixers have won three in a row overall - all by single digits - after Saturday's 119-116 victory over the Indiana Pacers in which Joel Embiid had 32 points and 11 rebounds.

Since going scoreless in a loss at Toronto last week, Embiid is averaging 30.7 points and 14.7 rebounds. "I changed my mindset," Embiid told reporters after making 15-of-15 free throws in the win over the Pacers. "I hadn't been as aggressive, so I've been more aggressive creating contact and causing other people to foul me." The Jazz also had a tough time at Toronto, falling 130-100 on Sunday in their most lopsided loss of the season. Utah fell behind by 40 points at the break and could never recover while sinking to 4-7 on the road.

ABOUT THE JAZZ (12-8): The 40-point halftime deficit represents the largest in franchise history, rendering Utah's 49-point effort in the third quarter a virtual non-factor. "We were awful. I think the important thing for us is to understand why," Jazz coach Quin Snyder told reporters. "There were a lot of issues but our urgency to make certain things important defensively, whether that be an assignment, sprinting back and not jogging back against a team that runs the way they do. There were too many breakdowns and too many possessions where we lacked the urgency we needed." Donovan Mitchell, who had 24 points to lead the Jazz to a win over the Sixers at home earlier this season, was limited to 16 at Toronto - more than nine below his average.

ABOUT THE 76ERS (14-6): Point guard Ben Simmons had three of his four steals against Indiana in the closing seconds to help seal the team's seventh win in the last eight games. "I love being able to get steals and turn guys over," Simmons, who has at least two steals in six straight games. "I take pride in it and it gives us energy." Tobias Harris chipped in 22 points Saturday and is shooting 52.3 percent in Philadelphia's 14 wins.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Embiid had 27 points and 16 rebounds in the earlier loss at Utah.

2. Sixers SG Josh Richardson (hamstring) has missed the last two games.

3. Jazz PG Mike Conley scored 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting in Sunday's loss after connecting on 9-of-40 over his previous four games combined.

PREDICTION: 76ers 115, Jazz 106
