The Milwaukee Bucks look to record their longest winning streak in 46 years while extending another run against the Detroit Pistons when the teams meet Wednesday in the Motor City. Wins over Charlotte by 41 and New York by 44 on an impressive two-game homestand pushed the Bucks' streak to 12 games in a row, tied for the fifth longest in franchise history.

They've also won nine in a row over the Pistons, including the postseason, and the team is singularly focused on maintaining their dominance. "We're not coming here and thinking about the 12 games we won," forward Giannis Antetokounmpo told reporters after the 132-88 rout of the Knicks on Monday. "We're thinking about, 'how can I do my job? how can I win tonight?' And that's the most important thing. We've got Detroit next. How can we win in Detroit? How can we go in there and play good basketball and win." Antetokounmpo needed only 42 minutes to record 55 points and 24 rebounds during the two-game homestand, notching his NBA-leading 20th double-double against New York. The Pistons have put together consecutive wins for the first time this season and both have been blowouts, the latest a 127-94 rout of Cleveland on Tuesday.

ABOUT THE BUCKS (18-3): The recent blowouts have given Milwaukee a chance to spread out the minutes, as nobody played more than 24 minutes in both games on the homestand. "It was good for us to get everybody out on the court, have some other guys not play heavy minutes," coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters Monday. Star forward Khris Middleton received his first start Monday since returning from a thigh injury and needed only 18 minutes to score 16 points and grab seven rebounds.

ABOUT THE PISTONS (8-13): Christian Wood produced a career-high 28 points in Sunday's 132-98 win over San Antonio and followed it up by hitting all four of his shots in the victory over the Cavaliers. Blake Griffin scored 24 points in 24 minutes at Cleveland while making 6-of-7 3-pointers, which comes after he started the season going 11-of-46 from beyond the arc. Big man Andre Drummond stuffed the stat sheet Tuesday with 17 points, 14 rebounds, five steals, four blocks and four assists.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Bucks PG Eric Bledsoe scored only eight points while attempting five shots during the team's two-game homestand but he recorded 14 assists against three turnovers.

2. Detroit's bench produced 67 points on 57.1 percent shooting Tuesday.

3. Wednesday's tilt represents one of just three road games in a span of 15 for Milwaukee.

PREDICTION: Bucks 114, Pistons 106
