The Philadelphia 76ers will try to follow up another victory at home with a win on the road when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. Behind 31 points from Tobias Harris and 24 apiece from Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, the 76ers improved to 14-0 at home with a 116-109 win over New Orleans on Friday.

Philadelphia had just nine turnovers overall and scored 39 points in the first quarter, but there was room for improvement after a narrow win over the struggling Pelicans. "There are some good things that happened in that game and there are some poor things that happened in that game," 76ers coach Brett Brown told reporters. "My mind is completely on what do we have to do to not be in that situation." The Nets have lost consecutive games for the first time in a month after a 110-102 setback at Toronto on Saturday. They shot 38.6 percent from the floor and turned it over 20 times while falling to 6-7 on the road.

ABOUT THE 76ERS (20-7): Harris was 12-for-20 from the floor against New Orleans while bumping his December scoring average to 24.9 points. "I know that when I'm aggressive and getting things in the flow, I'm a very hard player to guard," Harris told reporters. Embiid recorded his third straight double-double in the win and has 17 on the season, tied for seventh in the NBA entering Saturday.

ABOUT THE NETS (13-12): Spencer Dinwiddie scored 24 points at Toronto and he is averaging 23.9 in 14 starts in place of Kyrie Irving (shoulder). Brooklyn had an early 10-point advantage in the loss after it coughed up a 20-point lead in a home defeat against Charlotte on Wednesday. "A lot of good looks, the one I feel you can control are the turnovers," coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters. "You don't get a shot and usually turnovers turn into a great shot for the team at the other end. You have 20 turnovers and you miss the amount of shots we did, it's just not good enough."
