Last Meeting ( Mar 11, 2019 ) Toronto 101, Cleveland 126

After snapping a three-game home losing streak, the Toronto Raptors will attempt to put together consecutive wins at Scotiabank Arena when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. The Raptors opened 9-0 at home before defeats to Miami, Houston and the Los Angeles Clippers, but they were able to stem the tide Saturday with a 110-102 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

"Our energy was where we want it to be," forward Pascal Siakam told reporters after scoring 30 points, his best total since Dec. 1. "We made a lot of mistakes but we covered it up with our energy." Toronto shot just 38.8 percent in the win but it locked down in the second half by limiting the Nets to 42 points while improving to 7-1 at home against the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers were the latest victim of the Milwaukee Bucks, who picked up their 18th straight win with a 125-108 triumph over Cleveland on Saturday. The Cavaliers' starting five combined for 50 points on 39.2 percent shooting with 13 turnovers in the team's ninth loss in 10 games.

ABOUT THE CAVALIERS (6-20): Cleveland has committed 18 turnovers in three of its last four games, a recipe for disaster against a team like the Bucks that can convert giveaways into quick points. "They're explosive in offensive transition," coach John Beilein told the media. "We have to do a better job there collectively. That lead can explode on you in a minute." Rookie guard Kevin Porter Jr. was the Cavaliers' leading scorer in Saturday's loss with 15 points, which came two games after he recorded a personal-best 24 in a loss to Houston.

ABOUT THE RAPTORS (17-8): Marc Gasol recorded season highs of 17 points and 15 rebounds in the win over the Nets while Norman Powell contributed 25 points while making 10-of-15 from the floor. They both had a pair of blocked shots and Toronto recorded 10 as a team, its highest total since Oct. 26. "I really think tonight's game was fueled by the defense we had," Powell told the media.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Raptors G Fred VanVleet (knee) has missed three games in a row.

2. Cavaliers C John Henson missed his first five 3-point attempts this season before connecting on his only two tries in the loss to Milwaukee.

3. Toronto won the first three meetings last season before Cleveland claimed the finale.

PREDICTION: Raptors 114, Cavaliers 97
