The Memphis Grizzlies suffered a pair of late-game collapses in an 0-2 road trip, and they'll aim to put forth a more complete effort Saturday against the visiting Sacramento Kings. After blowing a 24-point lead in a 126-122 loss at Oklahoma City on Wednesday, the Grizzlies saw a 12-point advantage disappear in the final 10 minutes of a 114-107 setback at Cleveland on Friday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 24 points for Memphis, which had won four of five before the back-to-back losses. "At this point, to have a six-point lead going into the fourth quarter, credit the Cavaliers that came with the big 50-50 ball and rebounds, doing it the whole game," Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins told reporters. "Not good enough by our standards." The Kings fell to 1-2 on their four-game road trip with Friday's 119-105 loss at Indiana. Leading scorer Buddy Hield was held to seven points on 3-of-15 shooting as Sacramento dropped to 6-11 on the road.

TV: 8 p.m. ET, NBCS California (Sacramento), FS Southeast (Memphis)

ABOUT THE KINGS (12-16): Hield was 1-of-9 from 3-point range Friday and fellow standout guard De'Aaron Fox finished 3-of-9 from the floor in his second game back from an ankle sprain. Richaun Holmes carried the load by making 9-of-10 shots en route to 20 points to go along with nine rebounds in 24 minutes. Fellow forward Marvin Bagley III added 17 points off the bench and he is averaging 13.8 points in five games since returning from a broken thumb.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES (10-19): Rookie guard Ja Morant was held to eight points - more than 10 below his season average - in the loss to Cleveland but he tied his season high with 11 assists. Center Jonas Valanciunas contributed 14 points and 14 rebounds and is averaging 19.7 points and 11 boards over the last three games, shooting 68.4 percent in that span. Grayson Allen missed his previous five games with an ankle injury before producing nine points in 11 minutes off the bench.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Jackson is averaging 26.3 points over his last four home games.

2. Sacramento SG Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) missed Friday's loss and is considered day-to-day.

3. The Kings took three of four meetings last season.

PREDICTION: Grizzlies 111, Kings 104
