The Philadelphia 76ers snapped out of a three-game funk with a convincing home win on Saturday and will try to make it two in a row when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Monday. The game marks the first in a stretch with five of six on the road for the 76ers, with the lone home game in the bunch a Christmas Day showdown against Eastern Conference-leading Milwaukee.

Philadelphia showed off again how tough it is on both ends of the floor when the planned starting five of Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Joel Embiid, Josh Richardson and Ben Simmons is healthy and playing together in the 125-108 triumph over the Washington Wizards on Saturday. "It was important to (end the losing streak)," Harris told reporters. "You never want to drop three in a row. Our motto should really be not to drop one when it happens. I think it was just a learning lesson for us in a lot of things." The Pistons are one of the few teams that can match the 76ers' size up front when healthy but are enduring a four-game slide with forwards Blake Griffin (knee) and Christian Wood (knee) dealing with injuries, though the team is still looking at the bigger picture. "It's a marathon," Pistons coach Dwane Casey told reporters. "It's not a sprint. It's not like the Eastern Conference, the last two, three spots, are running away. But what I want to do at some point with our organization is to win big, not just to eke in the playoffs. At some point, we're going to get it right."

ABOUT THE 76ERS (21-10): All five starters scored in double figures on Saturday and each recorded between 10 and 17 field-goal attempts while showcasing the team's offensive balance. Teams had been using a zone defense to flummox Philadelphia during the losing streak, but it used its size to rack up a 63-47 rebounding advantage against the Wizards and score 54 points in the paint while shooting 52.1 percent from the floor. The offensive explosion came on the heels of a three-game stretch in which the 76ers averaged 97 points.

ABOUT THE PISTONS (11-19): Detroit's injuries extend into the backcourt as well, and the team was down to seldom-used reserve Tim Frazier at point guard on Saturday with Reggie Jackson (back) and Derrick Rose (knee) sitting out. Frazier collected 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting and nine assists in 28 minutes against the Bulls - recording season highs in points, assists and minutes. "That's not my first time being in a position like that as an NBA player," Frazier told reporters. “In my position, you always know your name might get called and you've always got to be ready. I try to do the best I can as far as staying in shape, staying ready."

BUZZER BEATERS

1. 76ers reserve PG Trey Burke is 4-of-7 from 3-point range over his last three games.

2. Griffin and Rose are questionable for Monday while SG Luke Kennard is playing through knee pain as well.

3. Philadelphia owns a four-game winning streak in the series, including a 117-111 triumph at Detroit on Oct. 26.

PREDICTION: 76ers 120, Pistons 108
