Russell Westbrook takes aim at becoming the fourth player in NBA history to reach 100 career triple-doubles when the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. Westbrook recorded No. 99 in Monday's 106-101 home win over the Sacramento Kings when he had 17 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138) and Jason Kidd (107) are the only three to reach the century mark and Westbrook credits his approach for why he is about to join the three legends. "I take pride on both sides of the floor," Westbrook told reporters after his latest strong effort. "I feel like every time I step on the floor I have to be the best defender, the best offensive player. To do that, you have to be locked in and I try to do that every night." The Hawks have dropped three straight games and eight of their last 10. Atlanta hopes to have point guard Dennis Schroder (elbow) back from a one-game absence and the 24-year-old leads the team in scoring (19.2) and assists (6.1).

ABOUT THE THUNDER (40-29): Forward Carmelo Anthony bounced back from a dreadful two points on 1-of-8 shooting against San Antonio on Saturday to go 5-of-7 from 3-point range while scoring 21 against the Kings. Anthony's productivity has been streaky as he adjusts to being the third offensive option behind Westbrook and forward Paul George and the 20-point effort was just his fifth in the past 20 games. George also tallied 21 points against Sacramento and has scored 20 or more in 19 of the past 25 contests.

ABOUT THE HAWKS (20-47): Shooting guard Kent Bazemore was ruled out for the rest of the season on Monday when an MRI exam revealed a bone bruise in his right knee. Bazemore suffered the injury during Sunday's 129-122 loss to the Chicago Bulls as he landed awkwardly and hopped off the court toward the locker room. The 28-year-old was tied for second on the team in scoring (12.9) and made 108 3-point baskets, one shy of his career high set in 2015-16.

1. Westbrook drained the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to cap a 30-point, 15-assist performance as the Thunder defeated the visiting Hawks 120-117 on Dec. 22.

2. Oklahoma City C Steven Adams (hip) departed the contest against the Kings and as for his status on Tuesday, the Australian said "we will see, mate."

3. Atlanta reserve G Jaylen Morris (left ankle) will miss two to four weeks after being hurt on Sunday.
