Baylor looked less than impressive in posting its 20th straight win, but coach Scott Drew knows that opponents are going to give the top-ranked Bears their very best - night in, night out. Baylor seeks to continue its winning streak Monday when it visits Texas in Big 12 play.

Its last time out, Baylor faced the league's last-place team, Oklahoma State, and didn't pull away until the final minute en route to a 78-70 victory. "At the end of the day, there's very few people, players, teams that ever beat a No. 1 team," Drew said. "You're never getting their B game, you're not getting their C game, you're not getting their B-plus or A-minus game. What makes it tough is that means you've got to be on your A game. And it's hard to be on your A game for 18 conference games. But if you want to win, you have to." Texas, meanwhile, has lost five of its last seven with only a one-point win over TCU and a four-point victory against Iowa State to show for the last few weeks. Andrew Jones scored 18 points and Matt Coleman III had 17 points the last time out in a five-point loss to Texas Tech, but they didn't get much help from the rest of the team.

TIME: 9 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN

ABOUT BAYLOR (21-1, 10-0 Big 12): Baylor has three double-digit scorers on the season in Jared Butler (15.3 points), MaCio Teague (14.6) and Freddie Gillespie (10.1), while Davion Mitchell isn't far behind. Butler has shot below 40 percent from the field in three of the last four games, but Teague came up big against Oklahoma State with 24 points on 4-of-7 3-point shooting. Gillespie chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds against the Cowboys for his ninth double-double of the season.

ABOUT TEXAS (14-9, 4-6): Texas led 31-19 at halftime against Texas Tech before getting outscored 43-26 in the second half en route to a disappointing defeat. "We gave up 19 points in the first half. We gave up 43 in the second half," Texas forward Kamaka Hepa said. "I just felt like our level of urgency wasn't there coming out in the second half." Only two players on the team made at least two buckets against Texas with Courtney Ramey (2-of-9 for five points) among those who struggled from the field.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Ramey is 3-of-18 from the floor in the last two games.

2. Baylor's top four scorers and four of its top five scorers average at least one steal per game.

3. Teague has made multiple 3-pointers in six straight games.

PREDICTION: Baylor 87, Texas 73
