Florida and Texas A&M will look to bounce back Wednesday night when they meet up on the Aggies' homecourt. Both schools come off lopsided road losses, with the Gators succumbing to Ole Miss 68-51 and Texas A&M falling to South Carolina 74-54.

"Typical SEC road game," Florida coach Mike White told reporters after the Ole Miss loss. "They're hard to get, and we weren't getting this one with the way we played ... and the way they played." The Gators struggled to put the ball in the hoop all day, uncharacteristic for a team that entered the game atop the SEC in field-goal and 3-point percentages, yet they hit just 33.3 percent of their shots from the field and 21.7 percent from long distance. The Aggies fared even worse against South Carolina, outscored 24-5 over the final 8:38 of the first half and they finished with their second-worst shooting performance of the season (27.3 percent). Still, it's Texas A&M's turn to rebound from that dismal performance as the Aggies have been consistent with their inconsistency, alternating wins and losses over the last seven games.

TIME: 8:30 p.m. ET. TV: SEC Network

ABOUT FLORIDA (14-9, 6-4 SEC): The Gators' top two scorers and rebounders led the way against Ole Miss, with Keyontae Johnson recording 16 points and 10 rebounds - his fourth double-double of the season - and Kerry Blackshear totaling 11 points and six boards. Guard Noah Locke (eight points) was 2-for-6 from 3-point range against Ole Miss and he needs one trey against the Aggies to tie the school record with 22 straight games with a 3-pointer. Point guard Andrew Nembhard had three assists and three turnovers last time out and he now has 13 assists and eight turnovers the last four games.

ABOUT TEXAS A&M (11-11, 5-5): The Aggies have failed to reach 60 points in 10 games this season, including two of the last three. John Nebo (11.4) is the only Aggie averaging in double figures, hitting 67.2 percent of his shots, but he only attempted two shots from the floor (making one) in the loss to South Carolina for a total of three points and he's been held to less than five points in three of the last four games. Wendell Mitchell is coming on strong with four straight double-digit shooting performances after totaling just five such efforts in the first 18 games.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Florida leads the series 8-4, with three straight victories including an 81-72 win last January.

2. Mitchell hit seven 3-pointers in the last meeting with the Gators.

3. Gators freshman Tre Mann missed all six of his shots in 25 minutes of play against Ole Miss.

PREDICTION: Florida 64, Texas A&M 57
