Oklahoma is coming off a resume-building win and has an opportunity for another this Saturday at Kansas. The Sooners will try to avoid looking too far ahead to the clash with the Jayhawks when they host Iowa State for a Big 12 matchup on Wednesday.

Senior forward Kristian Doolittle broke out of a recent slump with 27 points while hauling in 12 rebounds in Saturday's 69-59 win over No. 14 West Virginia. "If I was open, just shoot it regardless if I was going to make it or miss it," Doolittle - who was held to eight points or fewer in each of his previous five games - told reporters. "Just to have a next-shot mentality. I feel like that was in my head the past few games but (with) the confidence that the coaching staff and my teammates instilled in me, I was able to come out here with a fresh mind." The Cyclones will be playing their first game since losing star guard Tyrese Haliburton - the Big 12's leader in assists (6.5 per game) - for the season due to a fractured wrist. "This comes as a shock to me, my family, my teammates and coaches," Haliburton said in a statement. "As this season continues, I will try to be the best teammate possible. I know my brothers will step up and I can't wait to be there every step of the way."

TIME: 9 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN2
