Last Meeting ( Jan 28, 2019 ) Duke 83, Notre Dame 61

Coming off two of its best wins of the season, No. 7 Duke aims for its seventh straight win Saturday when it hosts Notre Dame in ACC action. The Blue Devils took on another top 10 foe in Florida State the last time out and came away with a 70-65 triumph, two days after rallying for a wild victory over North Carolina at the overtime buzzer.

"This has been an incredible 48 hours for our team," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said after beating the Seminoles. "I've got good guys, man. I've got really good kids." After his team overcame 21 turnovers in an uncharacteristically sloppy performance, Coach K added: "Not many teams would've won tonight after Saturday. I'm so damn proud of them, man. I wish you could feel what I feel." Notre Dame had won four in a row before falling by a point to defending champion Virginia its last time out. "We thought it would be a rock fight. I told them it would. It was, and they're probably more accustomed to the rock fights than us," Irish coach Mike Brey said.

TIME: 4 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN

ABOUT NOTRE DAME (15-9, 6-7 ACC): John Mooney had 11 points and 14 rebounds against Virginia, but it was still a quiet effort relatively speaking for the senior forward, who averages 16.3 points and 13.0 rebounds. Mooney has notched a double-double in all but three games this season but is coming off his second-worst shooting game of the season (4-of-14) against the Cavaliers. Prentiss Hubb had a team-high 12 points against Virginia following a four-game stretch in which he shot 6-of-31 from the field.

ABOUT DUKE (21-3, 11-2): The Blue Devils didn't have a player score more than 13 points against Florida State, as Tre Jones and Jordan Goldwire reached that mark while Matthew Hurt registered 12 points. Vernon Carey Jr. had 10 points and 10 rebounds in 19 minutes and has recorded four double-doubles in the last five games. Cassius Stanley had nine points against the Seminoles and went 1-of-4 from 3-point range, dropping him to 6-of-29 from the arc over the last seven games.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Jones is 0-of-9 from 3-point range in the last three games.

2. Notre Dame G T.J. Gibbs shot 2-of-11 against Virginia after connecting on 50 percent of his shots or better in 10 of the previous 11 games.

3. This is the only scheduled meeting between the teams this season. Duke won last season's only meeting by 22 points.
