Last Meeting ( Jan 3, 2020 ) Temple 44, Tulsa 70

Having won five of its last six games, Tulsa closes the regular season with a two-game road trip, beginning with a matchup against Temple on Wednesday. The Golden Hurricane crushed the Owls in the first meeting this season, posting a 70-44 victory as Jeriah Horne scored 23 points and Brandon Rachal chipped in 19.

Tulsa has given up 57 points or less five times in the last six games and is giving up 63.4 points on average this season, ranking 32nd in the nation entering Tuesday's action. The team is coming off a 65-54 triumph over Central Florida as Lawson Korita scored 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting and Tulsa forced 20 turnovers and allowed only three offensive rebounds. Meanwhile, Temple enters with three straight losses as it prepares for its final home game of the season. Nate Pierre-Louis registered 12 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in a 64-58 loss to South Florida the last time out as the Owls struggled with their shooting - a familiar theme this season.

TIME: 7 p.m. ET. TV: No TV

ABOUT TULSA (20-9, 12-4 AAC): Tulsa relies on a balanced scoring attack with six players averaging between 7.1 points and 13.2 points, led by Martins Igbanu and his team-high mark of 55.6 percent shooting. Korita (7.1 points) has scored at least 10 points and made at least half his shots in six of the last seven games, and he has gone eight straight games without committing more than one turnover. Rachal scored in double figures in 17 of his first 20 games, but in his last eight outings, he has done so only twice with a pair of scoreless performances mixed in there.

ABOUT TEMPLE (14-15, 6-10): Temple has been a poor shooting team almost all season, as the squad connects on just over 40 percent of its attempts from the field and less than 33 percent from 3-point range. The issues start at the top, where leading scorer Quinton Rose shoots under 38 percent overall and is just under 27 percent from long range, while Pierre-Louis (41.0 FG%, 25.8 3PT%) isn't faring much better. Alani Moore II averages 8.5 points but has reached that figure only twice in the last six games and is coming off a game in which he managed just three points with zero assists or rebounds in 35 minutes.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Rachal (17) and Rose (21), both of whom are guards, lead their respective teams in blocks.

2. Pierre-Louis has double-digit rebounds in four of the last six games and 12 times overall this season.

3. In the first meeting between the teams, Temple missed 20 of its 25 3-point attempts.

PREDICTION: Tulsa 67, Temple 60
