KJ Feagin took longer than expected to find his role on a deep San Diego State roster, but the Santa Clara transfer has clearly settled in over the past few weeks. Feagin has scored 54 points over his last three games for the fourth-ranked Aztecs, who look to maintain their perfect record on Tuesday against visiting New Mexico.

Feagin made five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points in Saturday’s 89-74 win over Air Force as the Aztecs improved to 24-0 overall and 13-0 in the Mountain West. “I just think I’m finding the rhythm finally,” Feagin told reporters. “To start the year, my jump shot wasn’t really going, but it’s starting to pick up at the right time, when things really matter. We’re getting into the thick of things going into March, so I’m just glad the ball is starting to go through the rim for me.” San Diego State throttled New Mexico 85-57 at The Pit on Feb. 11, but the Lobos could provide a tougher test this time around with leading scorer JaQuan Lyle and junior forward Vance Jackson back in the lineup. The Lobos had lost five of six before Lyle and Jackson returned to action and combined for 25 points and nine rebounds in Saturday’s 97-68 win over Wyoming.

TIME: 11 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN2
