TCU hopes some home cooking will get it back on track in a Big 12 matchup with struggling Colorado on Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Horned Frogs (10-10, 3-6 Big 12) lost 71-57 to No. 22 Texas Tech on Wednesday for their third straight setback. Leading scorer Noah Reynolds (12.4 points per game) paced TCU with 14 points, but the Horned Frogs went just 5-for-18 from beyond the arc as part of a 35.1 percent performance from the field.

However, TCU's bench did show up for the meeting with the Red Raiders, outscoring Texas Tech's second unit 29-15. Malick Diallo, a four-star recruit out of Wasatch Academy in Utah, was especially impressive (eight points, six rebounds), and Horned Frogs coach Jamie Dixon is hoping that he can build off his latest performance.

"Malick is getting better and we need that. He played well with Ernest (Udeh Jr.) a little under the weather," Dixon said. "We have to rebound well with the groups we have out there. We're just not getting it done to win games against good teams."

The Buffaloes (9-11, 0-9) are still searching for their first victory in Big 12 play. Colorado lost a heartbreaker at home against Arizona State on Tuesday, falling 70-68. Sebastian Rancik missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer in the closing seconds for the Buffaloes.

Colorado's Trevor Baskin scored a game-high 19 points off the bench against the Sun Devils.

Julian Hammond III leads Colorado in scoring at 13.9 points per game. Even though the Buffaloes have yet to break through in conference play, Baskin has admired the team's resiliency and believes that the end of its nine-game skid is on the horizon.

"It's easy to go back and look back because hindsight is always 20-20," Baskin said. "But we dig ourselves a hole and it's frustrating. But we are a resilient group and we will find a way to battle back."
