Last Meeting ( Nov 8, 2013 ) Buffalo 58, Texas A&M 82

Texas A&M will try to bounce back from an off night when the Aggies close non-conference play Thursday against visiting Buffalo. The No. 9 Aggies were missing two starters when they shot a season-low 37.1 percent from the floor in Tuesday's 64-58 win against Northern Kentucky.

Junior guard Admon Gilder is out at least two weeks with a knee injury and sophomore forward Robert Williams has missed two games with a concussion. Freshman forward Savion Flagg picked up some of the slack and showed off the Aggies' depth by recording his first double-double. "Coach said next man up with everybody out," Flagg said after Tuesday's win. "Coach needed people to step up and luckily my name was called and they trusted me enough in the program. I did what I had to do to help my team get a win." Buffalo senior guard Wes Clark had 15 points in his Bulls debut in Tuesday's 81-74 loss at Syracuse.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, SEC Network

ABOUT BUFFALO (7-4): Junior guard CJ Massinburg - who had three straight double-doubles before a 14-point, eight-rebound performance against Syracuse - leads the Bulls with 19.5 points and 7.8 assists. Junior forward Nick Perkins (14.5 point, 5.6 rebounds), junior guard Jeremy Harris (12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds) and sophomore Davonta Jordan (10.2 points, 3.3 rebounds) also average double figures for the balanced Bulls. The addition of Clark, who had not played since Feb. 13, 2016 while still at Missouri, helps the Bulls who lost junior guard Dontay Caruthers (11.3 points) for several weeks with a foot injury.

ABOUT TEXAS A&M (10-1): Junior forward D.J. Hogg leads the Aggies with 14.6 points and is shooting 50 percent from the 3-point line while graduate transfer Duane Wilson adds 11.4 points and 4.0 assists. Junior center Tyler Davis adds 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds after back-to-back double-doubles and might have frontcourt mate Williams (8.0 points, team-high 10.4 rebounds and 4.8 blocks) back for this one. Freshman point guard J.J. Caldwell (3.6 points, 2.7 assists) made his first start Tuesday and finished with six points, eight rebounds and four assists.

TIP-INS

1. The Aggies have outscored their opponents by a combined 73 points during their current three-game win streak.

2. Williams and teammate Isiah Jasey have been on concussion protocol since colliding in practice last week.

3. Clark averaged 15 points in three meetings with Texas A&M while playing for Missouri.

PREDICTION: Texas A&M 75, Buffalo 68
