The Calgary Stampeders look to reach 10 wins for the 12th consecutive season when they visit the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday. The Stampeders have won four straight games, including a 23-16 victory over the Toronto Argonauts before going into their bye week, to move into a three-way tie for first place in the West Division and hope to stay in contention for their fourth straight division title by winning back-to-back games in Montreal after losing their previous four meetings in Quebec.

"We've struggled there and it's kind of our kryptonite right now so we've got to figure it out," Calgary coach Dave Dickenson told reporters. "I feel like our team understands the formula to win and we're doing the right things." Montreal is left to wonder what could've been following a 25-23 loss to the BC Lions in Week 16. The Alouettes, who were without suspended star quarterback Vernon Adams Jr., had the ball on BC's 1-yard yard line trailing by two with 1:10 remaining but coach Khari Jones opted to go for it on third down instead of kicking the go-ahead field goal and Antonio Pipkin was stuffed short of the end zone as they missed a chance to lock up their first postseason berth since 2014. "We've been very good on third and ones to that point," Jones told reporters. "I feel comfortable with the call and I would call it again."

ABOUT THE STAMPEDERS (9-4): Bo Levi Mitchell completed 33-of-48 passes for 346 yards and a touchdown against Toronto to record back-to-back 300-yard passing games for the first time this season. Running back Ka'Deem Carey, who has rushed for 422 yards and a pair of touchdowns in eight games, will miss the rest of the season after he suffered a broken arm against the Argonauts while the team's leading receiver Reggie Begelton is questionable after sitting out the previous game. Wide receiver Markeith Ambles underwent season-ending ankle surgery Monday while Calgary added slotback Darren Andrews and running back Timothy Flanders to the practice roster.

ABOUT THE ALOUETTES (7-6): Matt Shiltz completed 10-of-19 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown while adding a rushing score against BC in his first start since November 2017 with Adams sitting out for swinging a helmet at Winnipeg's Adam Bighill in the previous game. William Stanback racked up 147 rushing yards while Eugene Lewis finished with three receptions for 114 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Lions. Montreal added running back Christopher Amoah, who won two Vanier Cups with Laval in 2016 and 2018, to the practice roster and released wide receiver Jamill Smith.

EXTRA POINTS

1. The Stampeders have made the playoffs in 15 straight years, which is the longest streak in franchise history.

2. Calgary WR Eric Rogers is tied for the league league in touchdown receptions with eight.

3. Montreal DE John Bowman needs two sacks to move into fifth place on the CFL's all-time list.
