The Toronto Argonauts look to separate themselves from the rest of the pack in the East Division when they hit the road to face the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday. Lirim Hajrullahu kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to hand the Argonauts a 27-24 victory against the Ottawa Redblacks, and they hope to extend their lead at the top of the division by notching their third straight win in Regina, following road victories over the Roughriders in each of the last two seasons.

"This was a step in the right direction," Toronto coach Marc Trestman told reporters. "There is a lot of different ways to win and we found a way and that's important." Saskatchewan is heading in the wrong direction after a 27-10 setback to the Calgary Stampeders. The Roughriders, who have dropped three of their first four games, spotted the Stampeders a 17-0 lead and never recovered as they were held to 220 yards of total offence to fall to 6-16 since Chris Jones took the helm at the start of the 2016 season. "We've got work to do," Jones told reporters. "We've got to do a better job of not getting into that situation where we're not behind the eight ball all the time."

TV: 6:30 p.m. ET, TSN

ABOUT THE ARGONAUTS (3-2): Ricky Ray threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns against Ottawa to notch his fifth consecutive 300-yard game, which is his longest streak since 2006. Defensive lineman Cleyon Laing suffered a knee injury on the last play of the second quarter and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the knock while linebacker Bear Woods (concussion protocol) and defensive end Victor Butler (knee) are questionable for Saturday's clash. Running back James Wilder Jr., who accounted for 75 total yards in Week 5, will make his second straight start after Brandon Whitaker was placed on the six-game injured list.

ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS (1-3):
Kevin Glenn completed 20-of-29 passes for 203 yards against Calgary to become the seventh quarterback in CFL history to throw for more than 50,000 yards in his career. Wide receiver Duron Carter, who was suspended for one game last year for bumping Ottawa coach Rick Campbell, was fined an undisclosed amount by the league for shoving Calgary defensive back Josh Bell in the chest during pre-game warmups. "You can't cross midfield and Duron was totally in the wrong," Jones told reporters. "He made a mistake and understands he makes mistakes but we're not going to treat him different than anyone else."

EXTRA POINTS

1. Toronto has won four of the last five meetings in Regina.

2. Butler leads the league in sacks (seven) and forced fumbles (three).

3. Saskatchewan has won four of its last six games against East Division opponents.

PREDICTION: Argonauts 28, Roughriders 26
