The Winnipeg Blue Bombers travel to Regina to battle the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the annual Labour Day Classic on Sunday. The red-hot Blue Bombers outlasted the Montreal Alouettes 34-31 in double overtime to extend their winning streak to five games, and hope to keep pace with the front runners in the ultra-competitive West Division by notching back-to-back victories in the Labour Day Classic for the first time since 2003-04.

"You look at Saskatchewan where they were and where they are now," Winnipeg running back Andrew Harris told reporters. "Getting two points is an absolute must and we've got to keep our foot on the gas and keep moving forward." The Roughriders took another step in the right direction with an impressive 54-31 road win against the Edmonton Eskimos in Week 10. Saskatchewan had previously dropped 15 straight road games against West Division rivals, but scored 35 points off turnovers to shock the Eskimos and hopes to continue its resurgence by registering three consecutive wins for the first time in three years. "The sky's the limit and we're going to keep on getting better," Roughriders wide receiver Duron Carter told reporters. "If you were watching our games from the first game until now it's almost like we're a completely different team."

TV: 4 p.m. ET, TSN

ABOUT THE BLUE BOMBERS (7-2): Harris was named one of the CFL's Top Performers of the Month along with quarterback Matt Nichols and defensive back Maurice Leggett as the Blue Bombers completed a team sweep of the league's August accolades. Nichols threw for 1,203 yards and six touchdowns, including three scores in the win against Montreal, en route to a 4-0 record in August. Harris accounted for 522 total yards in August and is on pace to become the first running back in league history to finish with 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season while Leggett registered 19 tackles, three sacks and three forced fumbles. Veteran wide receiver Weston Dressler is expected to return to the lineup after missing the last four games with a shoulder injury.

ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS (4-4): Kevin Glenn threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns against Edmonton to move into an eighth-place tie with Tracy Ham (284) on the CFL's all-time TD passes list. Carter had a night to remember against the Eskimos as he caught a touchdown pass, returned a missed extra point 113 yards for two points and registered two tackles when he moved to defensive back late in the game. Wide receiver Chad Owens could be in line to make his Saskatchewan debut after recovering from a foot injury he suffered in 2016 while kick returner Christion Jones is likely to miss Sunday's game with a shoulder injury.

1. The Roughriders have won 11 of the last 12 Labour Day matchups with the Blue Bombers.
