The visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders look to beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the second time in six days when the two rivals clash in the Banjo Bowl on Saturday. The red-hot Roughriders have won three straight games following a 38-24 victory against the Blue Bombers on Sunday to equal their win total from last season, and hope to continue their upward trajectory by ending a two-game slide in the Labour Day rematch.

"When you start believing in it like this you can start rolling off a lot of wins," Saskatchewan quarterback Kevin Glenn told reporters. "We've experienced a road trip win already in Edmonton so I think we understand what we need to do and how we need to do it." Winnipeg saw its five-game winning streak come to a crashing halt in Regina as the offence was held below 30 points for the first time since a Week 3 loss to the Calgary Stampeders. The Blue Bombers missed a chance to leapfrog the second-placed Edmonton Eskimos, who lost to the Stampeders on Labour Day, but will get another opportunity as they seek to win the season series with the Roughriders. "Sometimes it's not the worst thing to have something like this happen in the middle of the season," Winnipeg quarterback Matt Nichols admitted to reporters. "Guys get that chip back on their shoulder."

TV: 3 p.m. ET, TSN, ESPN3

ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS (5-4): Glenn was named one of the CFL's Top Performers of the Week after completing 26-of-36 passes for 386 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday. Saskatchewan receivers Bakari Grant (139 yards), Naaman Roosevelt (119, touchdown) and Duron Carter (101, TD) all topped the 100-yard mark while Rob Bagg caught his first touchdown pass since Oct. 7, 2016. Cameron Marshall rushed for 56 yards on six carries before leaving the game in the second quarter with a knee injury and will miss Saturday's rematch, paving the way for Kienan LaFrance to make his first start for Saskatchewan.

ABOUT THE BLUE BOMBERS (7-3): Andrew Harris caught 10 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown to move within eight receptions of setting a single-season franchise record for most catches by a running back. Nichols threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns, but finished with a pair of interceptions while wide receiver Weston Dressler hauled in six passes for 64 yards after missing the previous four games with a lower-body injury. Linebacker Kyle Knox made six tackles before suffering a knee injury in the second half and his status is up in the air for Saturday's clash.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Winnipeg has won its last three home games.

2. Glenn has thrown eight touchdown passes in his last three contests.

3. Saskatchewan is averaging 44.3 points per game during its winning streak.

PREDICTION: Blue Bombers 35, Roughriders 31
