Last Meeting ( Oct 20, 2018 ) Montreal 22, Toronto 26

The Toronto Argonauts look to win back-to-back games for only the second time this season when they visit the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday. The Argonauts needed a late touchdown to edge the Alouettes 26-22 in Week 19, which ended a seven-game slide, and the defending Grey Cup champions hope to build some momentum for next year by claiming their first win in Montreal since Oct. 12, 2015.

"The goal is to finish the next two weeks on a good note," Toronto wide receiver Llevi Noel told reporters. "The season hasn't gone according to what we planned but we are looking forward to the next game and proving our record isn't the team that we are." Montreal quarterback Johnny Manziel is still searching for his first win in the CFL after the Alouettes blew a late lead en route to their fifth straight setback. Manziel is 0-6 as a starter since joining Montreal from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a blockbuster deal July 22, and has thrown seven interceptions compared to three touchdowns, as the former Heisman Trophy winner hopes to lead the Alouettes to their first victory in nearly two months. "I want to win and that's all I care about right now," Manziel told reporters. "I'm just ready for a win and I think these guys deserve it."

TV: 1 p.m. ET, TSN, RDS, ESPN2

ABOUT THE ARGONAUTS (4-12): James Franklin completed 26-of-37 passes for 277 yards and ran for two scores, including the go-ahead TD with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter, to equal the CFL single-season record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback set by Doug Flutie (14) in 1991. Veteran wide receiver S.J. Green caught five passes for 51 yards against Montreal to move within 31 of his sixth 1,000-yard season. Armanti Edwards made six catches for 106 yards to take his two-game total against Montreal to 220 receiving yards and a touchdown.

ABOUT THE ALOUETTES (3-13): Manziel was 23-of-30 for 220 yards and a touchdown while William Stanback racked up a career-high 118 yards against Toronto. Defensive back T.J. Heath, who has recorded three interceptions this season, is likely to play Sunday despite missing practice all week with bruised ribs while cornerback Dominique Ellis is expected to miss another game with a fractured wrist. Linebacker Henoc Muamba made seven tackles against the Argonauts to move within five of reaching 100 for the first time in seven CFL seasons.
