Last Meeting ( Aug 25, 2018 ) Saskatchewan 24, BC 21
The Saskatchewan Roughriders look to continue their late push for the West Division title when they host the BC Lions on Saturday. The Roughriders have won four of their last five games, including a 29-24 victory against Calgary in Week 19 to move within two points of the Stampeders at the top of the division, and can capture their first division crown since 2009 if they win out and Calgary drops its final two contests.
"It's nice knowing that we're still in there and we can get that first-round bye," Saskatchewan linebacker Sam Eguavoen told reporters. "Right now though we need to focus on BC and move on." BC is jockeying for playoff positioning after a 42-32 victory against the Edmonton Eskimos punched its ticket to the postseason after missing out in 2017. The Lions have won three straight and six of their last seven contests to put themselves in position to potentially host the West Division semifinal if they can take care of business in Regina and beat Calgary the following week. "We've got one loss in the last two months and that's where we want to be and where we want to keep going," Lions wide receiver DeVier Posey told reporters. "We talk about the process of gelling and I think we've got the right guys with the right intangibles."

ABOUT THE LIONS (9-7): Travis Lulay had one of his most productive games of the season as he completed 14-of-21 passes for 251 yards and four touchdowns - his most since Sept. 8, 2012 - against Edmonton. Posey was named one of the CFL's Top Performers of the Week as he caught five passes for 113 and three third-quarter touchdowns to kick-start the comeback after BC trailed 22-17 at halftime. Running back Tyrell Sutton gained 97 yards on 16 carries against the Eskimos to give him 203 rushing yards in two games since he was acquired in a trade with the Montreal Alouettes on Sept 25.
ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS (11-6): Zach Collaros garnered honours from the league as he was 24-of-35 for 352 yards through the air in the vital win against Calgary. Defensive end Charleston Hughes, who leads the league in sacks (15), is expected to play after missing the previous game because of his arrest for impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample. Saskatchewan added defensive back Tristan Doughlin, linebacker Deon King and defensive lineman LaVar Edwards, who appeared in 25 NFL games from 2013-17, to the practice squad while releasing slotback Mitch Picton.
